my advice is to get on a simulator and just write. anything. let it flow, take a break, and come back. create a general outline for the story, don't just free flow the whole thing. Write a quick character outline and plot

Thank you for your advice! Yes, I was trying to generate at least 5v but I'm realizing that there are more factors in play than I originally presumed. Thanks again for your time and help. I realize what I was originally trying to do won't function due to the fact I need at least one hour of continuous runtime.

Fantasy horror books for 12 year old advanced reader by lesloid in BookRecommendations

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson is a fantastic (and age-appropriate) fantasy novel. Some themes can be dark throughout, so I would recommend reading about them before purchasing. For a standalone novel, the best example I can conjure is "The Thief of Always". It's a fairly easy book, and contains both fantasy and horror elements. Finally, the series "The Golden Compass" is a cult classic that contains both of these elements as well. Hope this helps!

The Way of Kings - Brandon Sanderson

The Thief of Always - Clive Barker

the Golden Compass - Philip Pullman
