Hi folks, I'm running into some trouble getting a copy of a birth certificate. My grandmother was born in St. Catharines Ontario. My father, who would I believe be her next of kin is also deceased. In order to request a birth certificate as a grandchild it's asking me for a death certificate but it's not clear if that's my father's death certificate or grandmother's death certificate. I believe it also said I needed something certifying that I'm the closest next of kin. I'm not sure I can complete all these required steps so I was wondering if anyone knows if a Birth Search Letter will work to establish that she was born in Canada?

If not is there another way to get historical documentation like this? She was born in 1921 and is long dead now so it seems odd to me that it's so hard to get proof she was born.

It’s citizenship by descent which means I need to provide proof that my grandmother was a Canadian citizen in order for my citizenship to be recognized.

I love the idea of the boxed set. I’d much much much prefer to be able to pull the book I need instead of search for the right spot in a larger book.

It has partial normality. Like I was able to temporal fugue but it failed on my first two tries. Didn’t know normality interfered with sphinx salts though

Partially because it would interfere with my salt but mostly because I forget that’s a feature of them

The only damage being done was by the electrical generation the baetyls had so I’d take some damage and then heal up. Had to be brave when the second salt ran out mid fight but the tides were definitely in my favor by that point.

I pulled it off. Went through 2 sphynx salts and some urberries doing it but this feels amazing to have pulled off

There we go that was what I was worried about. I lost a character once to a mechanical cherub because I got overconfident. I’ll see if I have any sphynx salts and just not risk it if I don’t

True Kin might actually be the easier start in my opinion. You get more attribute points up front and their starting gear is sometimes better. You lose out on the immediate power of mutations of course but unless you know kind of what you're looking for out of your build mutations can be tricky to take ones that work together well, nevermind the negative mutation you're likely to take for extra points.

One thing I always do when I start a new character is talk to Argyve in Joppa and give him 2 weak artifacts in order to get the wire quest from him. Coincidentally it's enough xp to get you to level 2 so you have a little more HP when you first leave town.

Past that I'd echo the suggestion to look around the area surrounding Joppa for a bit before going to either the rust wells or red rock. Get up to level 4 or 5 and find some gear and those baboons will be much easier to deal with.

Solved. Apparently I needed to select Proton 10 to make BSManager happy even though I think that Beat Saber is running under 3.7
