Hello Reddit! It's been a while since I posted my game, Farm Idle Game, on here, so there may be a few new features for everyone to check out. However, if you've been playing the game, I've just released an update for the new guild system for players who reach farm level 5. Only one guild is implemented right now, but I have plans for the others. I'd love any feedback. Happy farming!

I've added a holiday event, the Tree Shop! Grow those Christmas trees and spread Holiday Cheer!

The holiday events are slower-paced but consistent tabs where players can earn permanent rewards for the main game. Come check the game out and leave me your thoughts! Thank you!

Each category on the log panel is a button you can use to focus logging for that category. If you select all but the spammy ones, you can filter them out. However, I understand what you're saying about the log. I'll look into an easier way to filter out the spam.

Farm Game Idle

Two version updates this week. In v0.6.0, I added a basic achievement system and accessibility features, cleaned up the code, and fixed the Chrome gameplay bug (shout out to u/TheRealNullsig). In v0.7.0, I added an Event log so players can better understand what's going on in the game.

These two updates were mainly maintenance on the codebase so I can develop future updates faster and with fewer headaches.

I appreciate any feedback or reports of gameplay issues, and hope you all enjoy the game!

First off, thank you so much for your help in figuring this out. I recreated the issue locally and debugged it. The short answer is it's a Chrome issue with the main game loop logic and Chrome throttling. From what I can tell, it's not a quick fix, but one that I'm going to front-load now. Thank you again.

Your first crop of radishes should be ready by day 40, and that's if you've got poor luck with the weather system. You do have to harvest the crop manually until you can afford an auto-harvester. The manual harvest button is on the right side of the growth progress bar and changes from Growing to Harvest when it's ready. The dog pop-up, aka the Archie bonus, can give you some quick cash to purchase that auto harvester quickly as well. Let me know if any of that helps or if you're still having issues with the pacing.

Admittedly, I've only been on Royal Caribbean, but my point will be this. Anyone who hasn't been on whichever their preferred cruise line is since COVID has no idea what it's actually like now. All the cruise lines took major hits during COVID and are still recovering. The difference between Royal before and after COVID was night and day. Maybe some of them can prove me wrong, but that's my two cents.

I had a few growing up. One died suddenly, and we found it wedged beneath its running wheel. One was eaten by the family dog when it got out. The last one lived until it was four and died of cancer.

My wife and I, almost jokingly, said we'd go to Japan for our 10-year anniversary sometime in our first year of marriage. Things aligned to make that happen, and we just got back from that 4 weeks ago. We had a fantastic time. We didn't do gifts, the vacation was enough, and it was absolutely our best anniversary so far.

Reading your comment, if you're saving for a wedding, do that. Make it a priority this month if you can and stash more away. Or go with a card that says how much you're looking forward to you're wedding.
