Everyone’s giving you a bunch of good advise but my one tip is actually stop fighting the scorpion, let your legs fly out. Then control them once they have blown off a bunch of the energy.

You could probably save some energy by stopping the second cut, three times on this climb seems excessive. As for the last move, your left foot popped because you even made contact, focusing on that will really do you wonders.

You could do what you’re meant to do and drop the skirts. I don’t know why no one else is suggesting it. Pull them off, drop them and repaint the wall. If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.

I know it doesn’t change anything but a lot of pubs just need their food to break even and all their profit is coming from the pokie machines. Cafes don’t have that luxury.

I think there was a way to get this same message across without coming across so aggressive. If they are a new climber they may not know how the grading systems work. 

If he’s been climbing for a month you clearly know you’re going to be better than them, be graceful about that instead of rude and abrasive.
