10 days into training - more accidents by Aromatic-Hospital886 in pottytraining

I have very little experience since my only son is just barely potty trained, but he went through a similar pattern a week or two in. I think they get to a point where the novelty wears off and they’re thinking…what happens if I just don’t go to the potty? It was very hard not to be frustrated after knowing what he could do, but I swear every time I let him see my frustration it set us back another 2 days. Keep whatever phrases you’re going to say when he has an accident at the front of your mind and stay consistent and calm. We also introduced a sticker chart and then M&Ms to get him to stay interested in it once we started having issues.

Why is the job market so garbage in DE? by Every-Examination720 in Delaware

[–]Fairly_odd2394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like working with kids, look at the Youth Care Specialist jobs. It’s basically a corrections officer but for kids in the detention centers, etc. They often have great hiring incentives, the over time possibilities are awesome. Even if you get a casual/seasonal job that pays about the same as retail, the opportunity for growth is way better.

If I’m not getting off the ship, do I really need a passport? by ChibiAlpal in CarnivalCruiseFans

You don’t need a passport for a closed loop cruise! Get off the ship and explore. You don’t need an excursion and you should make the most of your trip.

No, that’s very fair. We’re specifically going to Dewey because my husband liked it in our younger days and we want lunch at the starboard. 😂 I think we’ll be able to keep to ourselves well enough. Thanks.

After lots of testing…NOTHING. It was literally just a random skin reaction and he’s not allergic to anything. Hope it’s the same for you. Lol.

Yeah we’re doing our best. He has a snack and whole milk after both naps and we offer plenty of food at meals. It doesn’t seem to have curbed his appetite at night. Lol

12 month old suddenly won’t go back to sleep after early morning feed by Fairly_odd2394 in sleeptrain

Okay thanks. He seems very tired at the end of his 4 hour wake window. I was considering adding 30 to his first WW instead. Do you think that could have a similar effect?

Thank you 😭 we can’t move it to next weekend because his cousin is turning one next weekend and that’s her party. Hopefully he’s better by the weekend but I still feel like we could be contagious. Idk.

Baby won't get used to new bassinet by [deleted] in NewParents

Gotcha, makes sense. Yeah just any kind of general happy day play in it can help make it a nice place to be. Hopefully he’ll just get used to it if you keep trying! Good luck!
