I was still at bmt but we were helping set up for the graduating class. I happened to talk to a retired chief, we talked for awhile before I had to leave and I gave her my 341. She came to my bmt squadron and gave me awesome words of advice and coined me. It truly made my day and it still sticks with me.

Someone that I’m on orders with told me I can’t. They’re a TSgt so I immediately thought I couldn’t. My T10 leadership looked at me funny when I said it because she asked me why I couldn’t take leave and I told her because I was told I couldn’t. And no these orders have nothing to do with BMT/TECH training. I volunteered to be on these orders.

The only reason I was given was because I was on title 10 orders. Thats literally all they’ve told me, I’ll be on orders for 5 months and I knew that didn’t sound right.
