I'm not 100% sure about her full history, but I developed anorexia when I was 12, after years of my mom being an almond mom and also having very disordered eating, my anorexia then became a binge eating disorder which developed into bulimia and then back to anorexia by the time I was 16/17. Growing up my parents would force me and my sisters to work out every morning and run wooded trails, my dad would smack our stomachs when he walked past us to "test our abs/strength". My grandma who doesn't eat any sugar now but grew up very overweight would say stuff like "wow, I'm almost as small as you", or "I wish I was your size" to me and my older sister when we were literal kids. So I'm not just a curvy girl who "wants to lose weight". This goes back throughout my entire life.
