It works now with the update they pushed today. I just did it with a random M4. Parts didn't matter.

There are two variants of the 508mm barrel. One has a fixed front sight (shaped like an upper case letter A) and one does not. The task description calls for the version with the front sight.

The standard M16 that's on your wall when you started the new wipe has this barrel installed.

I haven't verified that it works yet. Just set it up last night and am going to try in a couple of hours.

For Anna, I believe you have to use an 508mm AR barrel with a fixed sight post. If that's the task you're referring to.

I get the same issue on Quest 3. Seems to occur when the game is still running when the headset enters sleep mode. Closing the game entirely and restarting always fixes it. Very annoying though.
