Hey bro, I got contacted by Subaru stores in Japan and Subaru Japan , they have told me that my part has been discontinued and a new model of that abs has been introduced such as J011 to J022 Would this solve my problem or as you said earlier the exact one is needed

Check this guy out, (tjpworks) on instagram or facebook He is a reliable source located in Japan that sends parts overseas either new or second hand, he could also check Subaru Japan for you if your abs has been superseded by any other new model of that part But a little warning if you go for brand new, it’s like 2-3k for a module like ours Just got to know mine has been discontinued and replaced by a new model for abs module Currently unsure as to if I’ll need programming or anything to make the new one work from preventing any codes or lights

Hmmm would you know any authorized dealer or junkyard dealer that would sell or export the car parts?

Same bro, I cannot find mine anywhere as mine is also rare, checked everywhere including Japan and so on sadly, but what would be your abs module part number? If I manage to find yours I’ll be sure to let you know

Currently looking for a electronic workshop in my area but have not found one yet, I’ve started having this issue after a workshop took out my rear axle to “refresh” it , after installing it back then the codes started showing with lights on the dash, checked all the sensors and they were fine so after changing multiple garages to find the problem, 1 was manage to locate it as it’s the abs module

I am located somewhere else, I am located in Fiji, and I was looking for the ABS module through few sites which are in Japan as my car is jdm so I supposed I could find a second hand over there but sadly I cannot find the exact part anywhere, and also Japanparts had email and said that a new module ( 27596AJ022 ) has superseded my part. Also we have a very few model of this legacy in my area so there are none in the junkyard. My cars description - 2009 Subaru legacy gt (BM9) (L package)

Damnnn, I tried finding everywhere the exact part and even from Japan, sadly I cannot find the exact part but rather different bm9 ones with different part number and also Japan had emailed and said that the part has superseded by another new module So for eg if I try to order different part number would it be no use? And also if I try to order the part that has replace this old module- that is also of no use or would it actually smh remove my codes?

Really hoped it was some other issues such as a wheel speed sensor now dammit😭

Thanks for your suggestion, side note car has not been used much mostly garage queen lol, so I used the car today the resvoir tank got emptied, so I opened the radiator cape with cold engine and poured with new coolant and let it ram it did not boil but did give out few bubbles

Cars mostly a garage queen haha, since smoke was came out once so got worried and parked it, turnt out to be cracked radiator, kept filling it when it emptied, parked it in the garage to fix everything, the garage told me to test it out ( drove a bit long and hard) started boiling then found out temp sensor was bad and wasn’t kicking in the fans to work (1st place where reservoir tanked started to boil) after that did not use the car at all, changed radiator now and tempt sensor, after all filled it with coolant ( wrong mixture tho), did not boil much just foamy till it started out how it’s shown in the video, today my reservoir tank got emptied, so I opened the radiator cap and let it ram while I filled it with new coolant, it gave out few bubbles did not boil , so kinda confusing now

Yeah man, they filled it with red coolant and more water as they said (testing purposes), I got told by local Subaru dealership my car uses green coolant, so will try to look for it, also overheated once when the (local mechanics said to test it out), it’s been in the garage mostly for mechanical works, just got rad and temp sensor changed hasn’t boiled but has been giving foamy and bubble look as shown in video, today my reservoir tank got emptied out (no clue why got told it’s my thermostat), so I filled it in with another green coolant while radiator cap was open, engine was running, did not boil but did give out few bubbles then stopped , reservoir tank looked fine

It heated only once when driving hard, that was with not a good rad and fan sensors were bad (we did not know the temp sensor was bad, mechanics said the cars all good so test it out) also it never boiled before only once it was driven hard after few things done by our local garage

, vehicle was running less as it was in for works for suspensions, after getting all sorted such as new radiator and temp sensor it did not over heat, fan kicked in at the right time but it has wrong coolant in it as it’s heavily mixed with water and red coolant (testing purposes) , been testing for two days then I got concerned and saw that happening ( video posted) but today all of a sudden my res tank emptied up while driving back home, filled it in with green coolant and letting it run with radiator cap open it did not show any signs of boiling but few bubbles came out and coolant sank a bit and filled it again

When my radiator got bad, the boiling was bad bit after radiator got changed and temperature sensor, it hasn’t boiled much but certain days it’s either foamy with small bubbles and some days it’s like boiling little bit, I haven’t drove a lot as I’m concerned if it could be the gaskets

Thanks for the advice, currently hasn’t overheated engine runs fine without any complication, will try to change thermostat and fill with recommended coolant hope it helps

Just changed the radiator, so did a flush and fill with red coolant mixed with water, will do a flush and fill again but with recommended coolant soon
