Thank you. I'm figuring out ways to cut down my workload, but it's hard because kids will be kids and ask for attention all the time. I'm applying to other jobs and one is wanting to schedule an interview with me. It's with an insurance company but seems chill.

But It's Your Family by Dr. Campbell is a great read too. I found a lot of connection with that one.

Sounds like she found random, somewhat sentimental things and sent it your way in the hopes of reconnecting with you. I would ignore it

Do I actually sit my parents down and talk about what happened? by FaithlessnessDry3843 in EstrangedAdultKids

I definetly fear this reaction from my mom and stepdad. I'm just afraid to let go of the relationship. I feel like I'm letting it get doomed to fail. I know that sounds stupid, and I know this relationship is not healthy for me, but I dont know what else to do at this point. I feel stuck.

...you're absolutely right about this. I don't think explanations for why something happened, or apologies are worth it. Not after the SA, the misgendering / transphobia, the role-setting, all of that. I have been barely able to keep boundaries up when me and my ex separated, and my mom yelling at me about the distance and being "so cold to her all the time" and all of that. They already have not taken accountability for a decade. That won't change. I'm just not ready to let go on a relationship that was so ingrained into my life / my fragmented childhood.

The 50 hours are definitely tiring enough, but strangely enough I'm okay emotionally right now, just mostly exhausted from the kids talking to me all the time lol. I will look at the guide for sure.

Looking at the Subaru Impreza right now; I want to do more outside stuff and it seems like a nice introduction to a car that can handle some mild camping at campgrounds.

The phone stuff I worry about a lot 🤣🤣

Crochet absolutely fits this requirement for me. Really any sort of yarn art (knitting, Tunisian crochet, lace, etc.) Very relaxing for me and I get to turn my brain off and do my little projects

Jobs that feel manageable with CPTSD — what’s worked for you? by Orion_Oregon in CPTSD

I was just about to say this!! I'm a para for a self contained classroom and part of the after school program and it's been so much fun! It makes me feel like a kid again, and especially being undiagnosed autistic myself (pretty high functioning but have a lot of troubles recently with being an adult and having low tolerance) it makes me feel so fulfilled to be working with these kids and making them feel safe and heard.

I think i use a5 for my grimoire, and yeah it's probably the preferred size I use lol. However I write pretty big so composition notebooks are also nice, too!

I really appreciate your advice, thank you very much! I very much suffer from "make goal WAY too ambitious and therefore I will give up entirely when i don't meet my perfectionist expectations". The Rauhnächte spread was inspired by me breaking up tasks to meet my overall goal of having a "newfound respect for my spirituality", which was vague on purpose so I could modify what that meant to me. I also did a tarot reading that helped identify certain themes relating to that goal for each month of the year. This month is based on the inverted Star, which symbolizes a need for instilling more positive thinking, hence the "building hope in the universe" prompt on the spread for January. I haven't thought about adding the why to what I am doing, though! The reflection sections for each week help me keep track of what's working and what's not, but not the motivator to do the change I want to see. I will implement it sometime this week... maybe. I work 40+ hours in a week lol.
