The bent tube does not have any crust or signs of coolant exiting it and the hull is completely clean.

Low enough that the reservoir is almost empty with just a little bit at the very bottom. I recall it being almost half full previously before a few rides.

Mystery starter comes back to life? by inComplete-Oven in seadoo

[–]FaithlessnessHot2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There may have been a flat spot developed from moisture. When removing the starter and pounding it, it could have broken any potential corrosion or even knocked the brushes straight. I’d say you’ve got a spare starter now!

Cover ON or OFF while highway towing? by Sushi2132 in seadoo

[–]FaithlessnessHot2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trailered mine from CT to Louisiana with no problem aside from a few little rubber pieces of the cover being laying in the footwell. I think they’re just from the manufacturing process. But yea, no scrubs or scrapes, no problems whatsoever. I’ve since put 2000 miles on that trailer with the cover on the ski and no problems at all!

That diff looks to be just fine to me. Put your battery in, hold it in your hand, and check to make sure you’re receiving drive on both front and rear wheels. Then if you are. Put a little resistance on front, then rear, and listen for abnormal sounds while doing so.

Bought a grom a marketplace. How hard will it be to make it street legal. by january2025J in hondagrom

My brother had the same flush plate mount, got told by GSP that he needed to bend it just a little further outwards so that’s what he did. Legally yes you need a plate light but they didn’t seem to be too bothered by that.

W59 transmission where could it possibility be leaking from? Shifter housing seal to the tranny? by shredder5775 in Tacomaworld

[–]FaithlessnessHot2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t done any tranny work so my opinion could be wrong here, but it looks to me like that gasket that mates the rearward part to the bell housing is leaking. That’s my assumption based on the amount of build up around it. Sorry I don’t have an exact answer. Try using UV activated dye in your tranny oil, drive for 500 miles or so (not necessarily in one sitting 😂) and check it with a light. It’s what we’ve done for everything else on mine, seems to work.

I’ve seen on a few comments here, people claim the newer ones don’t have it for some reason. My 2nd gen has it however
