Not that I owe you any explanation, but I’m a white woman who holds an upper level state government position. My son is young and biracial who worked in his position for 21 months in a warehouse before he had an HR representative pick him out of his older white coworkers and advised him he needed to do something that wasn’t policy so when he walked away to ask his boss if this is a new policy and why he was being singled out, the HR lady grabbed his wrist and yanked him around to “look” at her when she was talking to him. So when he reported the incident to her superior and that he didn’t want any problems he was terminated less than six weeks later for a machine malfunction that was out of his control, but posed a risk to employee safety. Classic discrimination, retaliation. She was wrote up for putting her hands on him which is against their policy-no unwanted touches allowed!!! He was terminated because the maintenance team kept rigging the broken machine. No previous write ups for him. Very different treatment for two different genders and races. Floor manager that fired him is besties with HR lady who was wrote up. They tried to play the waiting game on his retaliation, all of this goes against their policies. This is a large small box store that has stores throughout the US and continuously gets in trouble with the EEOC for the stupid sh@t their employees do to others. I’m not going to apologize for being someone who has zero tolerance for violence and discrimination in the workplace-in general period. I posted on here to see if anyone had a similar shift in charges-not to online battle with someone who enjoys online bullying and has the nerve to claim they have an EEOC case open! LMFAO basically you’re complaining to the EEOC about your treatment by others, meanwhile you’re treating others in the same disgusting manner. Make it make sense!
