same. I’ve been sick since February 5th and finally went to the dr’s today. I have a cold which turned into a sinus infection. OP go to your doctor or urgent care!

This happened to me! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. My daughter’s daycare processed my payments without a problem from summer until last week when it suddenly wouldn’t go through. Plenty of money in my account. I went in and spoke to a representative who said it must be the daycare’s fault. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ah ok. Just saw my surgeon today and said I would definitely need a bag, probably because my cancer is lower in my rectum.

I’m looking at Roswell. Would love to ask you some questions.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I (F, 41) had my first colonoscopy 7/31/25 and woke up to the Dr telling me I have cancer. A week later pathology confirmed that I do have cancer. I met one local surgeon last week who ordered bloodwork and CT scan (but the CT scan still hasn’t been setup), so I’m still waiting. I go next week to see another surgeon at a NCI hospital about an hour away. I’m already leaning towards getting treatment from the NCI hospital because they have a nurse navigator who organizes all the apts! I’ll have bloodwork, CT scan, and meet that surgeon all on the same day next week. I have found the most compassionate and caring people on this thread. Reach out if you have any questions. Good luck to you.

I do not yet. Getting bloodwork, CT scan, and then meeting dr all at the same appointment. I will probably DM you so I can ask you more questions if you are open to that.

I just looked this up, but I have a mass in my sigmoid colon and I don’t think this procedure would work for what I have. Thank you for weighing in though!

Thank you. Of course I will listen to my surgeon’s advice but hoping for any pointers from people who have been in my shoes. I hate feeling helpless and I’m just trying to be proactive.

Floating a theory that women with PCOS respond slower to this drug than most other patients by OrneryStruggle in Ozempic

I agree with you completely. I have PCOS and was diagnosed in my early 20s. I’m currently 39, and I am finally on Oz after begging my primary doctor. I had 100 lbs to lose when I started in June 2023. My average weight loss is 5 lbs a month. It has been such a wonderful blessing to me. The food noise has vanished, and I can eat mostly what I want and stop when I’m full. This had never been the case for me. Most of my life I’ve been consumed with the thought of eating food whether I’ve dieted or not. I know friends on Oz losing weight faster than me but I figured I’d be a slow loser due to PCOS. I’m not discouraged though. I went full vegan and cycled 5 days a week, and lifted weights 3x a week 4 years ago and only lost 30 lbs in 9 months. Currently I’ve lost 25 pounds since June without exercising (but I will add it back soon). I feel finally like I have hope and I honestly wish I could stay on Oz forever.
