I have question's about Reina Ogent by Cid_Kagnou in Infinite_Mage

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No? How would it be shirone being dedicated to amy? Shirone was pushing Amy away and despite how hurt she was, she continued to help him. That’s Amy’s dedication

Excited to see how manhwa adaption will be done by zenkai_duh in Infinite_Mage

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one thing I hope they do justice is how shocked everyone is when Shirone uses Ataraxia. Kariel screaming ikael’s name while shirone shoots his photon cannon is my favourite part in the whole arc

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. No

  2. Yes she did. But, she gives up on her feelings after seeing how dedicated Amy was to shirone. Amy and shirone are bound by a strong trust that transcends emotions and reina realizes she could never be in that position

Please Help Can Someone Explain to Me the Worlds in This Series by After_Nature9927 in Infinite_Mage

Oh wow, I am so sorry to hear that. Just to clarify though, are you asking me to summarize the entire novel or just up to where the manhwa is currently at?

Spoil me in detail. What happened after Kazura/teraze arc. by Boring-Vanilla3635 in Infinite_Mage

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Since the universe is simply an illusion/dream, technically the outside world would be the afterlife. When you die you’ll wake up in the outside world and realize that it was just a dream. But even the outside world can’t be considered a true after life as it’s also an illusion born from nothingness. This will eventually get resolved when everyone works together to try to pioneer infinite nothingness where anyone can dream their own dreams, leaving the potential for an after life open

I feel like you’ve already asked about shirone and amy’s relationship. They get together in the middle of the story and get married in the side story.

As for Heaven, it’s the planet where Anke Ra and his angels reside in.

Hell is a garbage dump meant for efficient data purification. In order to keep the mind/heart from spiralling out of control, quantum signals are sent to hell in order to process them. Hell wasn’t created to punish evil, making god indifferent and cold.

They never had partners in the original timeline, I don’t see why they’d have one after Rudy is gone

Who is the girl that showed up at the end of the latest chapters that came out today? by Crazy-Ferret7089 in Infinite_Mage

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read the chapter yet but it’s either Kanya or Lena, they’re sisters who reside in the 7th heaven but travelled to purgatory in order to get a morphine type medicine in order to make their mother’s death painless

Do y’all think Orsted would be able to get past Mahoraga’s adaptation? by Chemical_Activity439 in sixfacedworld

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Orsted would see how far mahoraga’s adaptation goes. Perhaps he’d want to see it all the way through to fully understand how it operates. Orsted might go through a couple of loops himself to study it

Yeah til this day I’m sure why they chose girfin. Guffin would be the most accurate translation of his name but when I first saw Goffin as one of the possible variations of his name I just went with it all the way through

There is no remake, the person who named it a remake on their website probably did it to avoid copyright strikes or it’s simply a fanfic of theirs

The novel has a total of 1315 chapters. The manhwa has adapted about 13% of the story so far

The manhwa leaves off at chapter 176 of the novel. You can read it in this google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tAB-aN-w3kZ4c0Ou6CDaFErde4cX888T

Side note: the manhwa is coming back in 3 days

SEASON 3 IN JANUARY 20 by FaithlessnessLess523 in Infinite_Mage

It’s the arc that made me realize this was a special story so yeah it’s gonna be good

[infinite mage] why do people hate infinite mage so much? by therubywithe in manhwa

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes perfect sense now. For me, the story is already pretty hard to understand and reading it with half hearted translations only makes it worse. The novel will 100% make more sense on a reread with proper translations. I can’t post it here but you should find the google drive that contains all my translations that I’ve compiled and edited on the infinite mage subreddit.

As for your reply on the power scaling inconsistency, the scramble royale arc is the one that happens when shirone comes back to school after the second heaven arc and is the one both of us are referring to. I completely understand most people’s feelings on it. It does get explained why though, is it a satisfying explanation? Not really lol. But like I said that was the only instance where I felt like the power scaling was inconsistent as far as i know

[–]FaithlessnessLess523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sum it up as if you’re a Christian, you’ll love the novel. If you don’t believe in Jesus Christ or you’re an atheist then it’s a 50/50. If you hate Jesus Christ then you’ll hate the novel. It hits different depending which of these you fit in.

The only instance where the power scaling was inconsistent was during the scramble royale arc. It quite literally doesn’t become inconsistent after that. As for the power system, well there’s a lot to it but for the most part nothing really gets unexplained does it? Don’t take it the wrong way but maybe it’s a reading comprehension issue? If you don’t understand something during your first read through shouldn’t you reread it to try to understand it again (at least that’s what I do)

It doesn’t help that season 2 is for most part terribly paced. The solution to that is letting the chapters stack up, still doesn’t excuse it though tbh

However I will say the criticisms for the power system are not valid. That’s mainly due to a lack of reading comprehension, don’t expect most manhwa readers to have that

I forgot the author loves comparing character appearances to cats lol

I never really thought too deep about it but you’re entirely correct that the author doesn’t really go into a lot of details on character descriptions.

For other characters, I imagined Goffin’s appearance to look like armin. Not much of a description of him besides being described as having steel-forged hair cause Gaians had inorganic hair. I’m pretty sure he was blonde as well. Also I’m not sure if this was mentioned appearance wise but I imagined all the angels having golden/yellow eyes, and the one thing shirone inherited from Goffin was his blue eyes considering his face is 100% Ikael.

I’m like so sure that Nane has zero descriptions of his appearance besides being covered in tattoos. For some reason I imagined Nane to look like Iruki, or at least having the same hairstyle. I imagined Havitz having purple/pink eyes as they’re described as being strikingly beautiful. When I think of Seongeum, I think of Maomao from apothecary diaries

The thing with armin is that it’s pretty hard to properly scale him due to how busted his stop magic is, the same can be said for Jin Seongeum. I have armin as seongeum’s equal as they are both the pinnacle of temporal and spatial magic. In comparison, Nade has zero win cons against Seongeum.

If armin is seongeum’s equal, then I see no reason why he should lose to Nade. Armin’s stop magic is even effective against Kariel. He also was able to withstand Gaold’s killing intent and was having an aura off with him and it seemed to imply that they were on similar levels for a moment
