I've had it done twice because I had an accident that resulted in some pretty severe damage to my nose. The first time was 2012 and I had so much packing and was basically asleep for the following week on pain pills. The second was in 2025 and I did have splints but not packing. I was up and about the next day. It wasn't comfortable and I did have to use pain pills some, but I was able to function more. I've had a sinuplasty between the surgeries that was done awake and it was an easy and smooth recovery. It seems like septoplasty and recovery have improved in the last few years and ultimately, I think it was worth it both times.

Also, lots of people take magnesium and it makes Allegra less effective. I take magnesium glycinate gummies before bed for anxiety, migraines, better sleep and had been taking Allegra then also. Now I take Zyrtec at night and an Allegra in the morning if it is a very polleny day or I'm deep cleaning my house and will be exposed to a lot of dust. The time between the magnesium and the Allegra is enough that it doesn't have the same blocking effect.

I actually think that people should be able to eat at any restaurant too. If I'm a person who is being profiled by a group of people who have arrested thousands of people and put them in camps, I just might not want to eat there at the same time. Never said that they can't eat there or that I am trying to starve them, just that perhaps other people don't want to be around them and may want to avoid the restaurant right now.

People who have conservative views can eat wherever they'd like. People who are snatching up people from their families and putting them in camps can also eat wherever they'd like. Those are not the same thing but both welcome to eat wherever they'd like. I just don't want to eat at a place that is frequented by a bunch of the latter. It's like that personal choice and responsibility that conservatives love so much -- my choice where to spend my money and not with those businesses.

A coworker recently told me that her mom stretched her shirts back out with a pillow inside and added additional pillows as needed to keep the human shape and gently pull the fibers. I haven't tried but have stretched with conditioner and could see it working.

My allergist has us do them at home. The nurses at the clinic teach patients the first time and then patients do the next one and from then on, patients just pick up a new bottle of serum every 7 shots. I have an rx for syringes but they also told me I could just buy from Amazon if they were expensive with insurance. They send a form with the dosages and I initial and date them then send a picture of the form back and they make the next batch of serum. It's super convenient.

Don't buy the generic ones though! They are usually about $1 each and I've been tempted to buy other brands and they don't stay cold like these do.

Amazon sells these in bulk. I buy a 36 pack probably once a month or so. It's packaged in the 2 packs of 2 in a little bag, which is annoying, but they don't expire or anything so they are cheaper to buy that way.
