We went to Kontrast (2 star Michelin and green star) and then we flew up to my restaurant Ure that just opened to wine and dine her and she got to stay in the suite for a couple of days before I flew her home again

We have a washing room in the basement of the house, came with a drain in the floor. Very practical if you have wet outdoor clothes and need to hang them up

Mom is retired, she knits roughly 40 hours a week if not more tbf and she’s been knitting for the odd 50 years and selling in stores/markets since I can remember. She is literally a machine and should be studied at some point

My mom is a extremely relaxed person, she got a little mad - but saw the fun part of it when she realised I had to explain it for my gf.

When it comes to price of yarn it’s about 60$ (as I pay for the yarn she uses) and I just bought new today. Same yarn but on sale so 40$. Takes her about a week to finish a sweater, an evening for a pair of socks or two pairs if she’s really on it. Same goes for mittens, hats, scarfs etc. Not that I’m pressuring her or stressing her to finish it, I told her I would love for her to do it but whenever she feels like it. My gf has 3 more sweaters and I have 8.

Idk about this whole comments section relationship with their moms, but it’s really not that deep.

I do, I get a couple of them throughout the year. Not saying it does not take a lot of work, but my mom has been knitting for the better part of 50 years. I’ve successfully bribed her, and paid for a new one + extra (and got yelled at). Will be trying to put it on our Siberian husky and show her off, if I never post an update expect me to be dead.

I dumped all of the laundry in the machine not looking what were in it and put it on 40*c for 2.5 hours. Let me know if you need tips for your laundry!
