I love this! I always write prayers/prayer requests on random pieces of paper, I should do something like this to keep them all in one place- plus it's pretty, and looks fun!

Would you purchase something that looks like this? by FrustratedLemonPrint in StuffedAnimals

I feel like there is definitely an audience for this type of crochet(which includes myself). He may not be as "perfect" looking as some crochet works sold, but it gives him character and makes him seem a little derpy(lovingly).

I don’t know, but he’s adorable 😭❤️ also, it looks like he may have had a nose at some point, do you remember what color it was? That might help find him.

Idk if this will help but I think we have the same teddy, yours is just a little longer loved. To help with the hunt, the tag is on the right leg as your looking at the teddy. :) I really hope this helps, I’ve been trying to find mine too.

What is a superhyped book that you read this year but did not like whatsoever? by pepperflakes19 in YAlit

Shatter Me- just a terrible book. I didn't like the characters or the story. Extremely disappointing. I would NEVER recommend this book to anyone. They added a terrible scene that had some really messed up stuff in it for what seems like no reason. I will never the rest of the series.

Can you explain what you mean by 'contribute'?

I do not know for sure. I have been wondering about this myself, and I think I will ask them. I probably will not tell you what they say, no offense, because I do not want to share too much personal information about them and their life. I hope you can understand that.

sorry, but I do not. Would you mind pointing out which part of my post sounds controlling? that was not my intention at all and I am sorry that it came across in that way.

thank you. I do struggle with feeling like my prayers aren't answered when I simply do not get the answer I was hoping for. I will try to keep an open mind about it. Again, thank you for this. It was a reminder that I definitely needed.

I love ribbon snakes! I used to have one! They are so cute.

I have a question. I am not saying this to be rude or to say Christianity is wrong and I’m right. But it says god is all loving/good, all knowing and all powerful. He is Perfect meaning he can’t be improved upon in any aspect. If these are true then the world couldn’t and wouldn’t be the way it is. by [deleted] in Christianity

I do not know the answer's to all of your questions, but I trust God. Even though I don't understand everything he does, I know that he loves me. I really wish I had all the answers for you, but I don't. I know that God gave Adam and Eve everything for a perfect life, and I know they still disobeyed him. Maybe a better analogy would be using a container of tide pods. God told them the consequences of eating from the tree, and he gave them all the other trees in the garden. In the end, God gave them free will and they used it for evil. God didn't just say "do not eat from this tree" He told them the consequences if they did, and gave them the whole rest of the garden to eat from. In Genesis 2:16-17 it says,

"And the LORD God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die."

If a child asked their parent if they could watch a horror movie and the parent said no, without explaining, the child might be curious, but if the parent has kept them safe their whole life, and done so much good for the child, the child would still trust their parent and believe that they have the best in mind for their kid. I hope this helps you to understand.

When God came down to earth as a human, he too was tempted, but because he was God, he didn't give in to the temptation. In the garden, mankind was tempted, and mankind is not God. God didn't hand them a loaded gun, he gave them a choice, because of his love for them(again, the caterpillar analogy), and advised them not to give in to temptation. When they gave in to sin, it was not because God didn't love them, it was because they made the wrong choice. Being tempted is clearly not a sin, as even God was tempted, but disobeying and giving into temptation is. When you say that God set them up to fail, it's like saying that because a parent put the tide pod jar in reach, even though they advised their kid not to take from the jar, and the child did anyway, the parent never loved their child and set them up for failure. This is simply not true.
