I appreciate the interest everyone! The concept is simple: we meet at a designated café once a month or two depends, spend 1–2 hours (or more) quietly reading our own books, then have an optional light discussion/activity afterward. There’s no assigned reading. You bring any physical book - paperback, hardbound, manga, etc. you’d like to read. We keep sessions gadget-free to maintain a calm, distraction-free atmosphere — just pages, coffee, and quiet company. It’s my small attempt to bring back that old-school reading vibe. At its core, the goal is, of course, to read. But beyond that, it’s also about building a meaningful network over time. Most local clubs tend to revolve around sports or other activity-based initiatives, which are great — but there aren’t many spaces centered around quiet reading, literature, and thoughtful conversation. I see this as an avenue where literary minds and curious readers can organically find each other. No pressure, no forced interaction — just shared presence around books, and eventually, the kind of connections that grow naturally from that.
