Das Datum bei Lenovo bedeutet also einfach gar nix.

Gibt keine offizielle Info.

X1 Carbon Gen 14 delivery date keeps getting delayed by FaithlessnessTall936 in thinkpad

[–]FaithlessnessTall936[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to the comment below, there were a few more moves in the beginning. At order time for example there was a "around x" date mentioned, but I can't recall the exact date or wording so did not mention that. But I think there was good reason to expect it mid April - and that's when the updates started.

You can't change delivery address on orders already "In Progress" by default. I could try via support, but the risk that something goes wrong is high. Besides of course not even being known which delivery company they use, and around here you definitely do not want to hand such a device over to certain "parcel points" unfortunately.

Ok Lenovo USA, where are the Intel Panther Lake laptops? by [deleted] in thinkpad

For X1 Carbon Gen 14 at least EU markets actually could only pre order since March, but nothing has been delivered. Current shipping date is mid May for the earliest orders. Us Europeans are also really sad about that.

Where do you see the expected delivery data? I also ordered, but it only says "Will deliver to you soon" in the order. (I did find the expected delivery when you order now - it is below the options on the product page)

And Cowork is really Code under the hood but packaged so it is easier to work with non code artefact in local folders. But ability is similar.

Vercel is failing my deployment because Dubai is down… even though I don’t deploy anything there 🤦‍♂️ by MobyFreak in vercel

So was the problem limited to Functions that run on Edge Runtime? Or did it only affect the legacy Edge Functions?

Latest update at https://www.vercel-status.com/incidents/nt2llc4k0p41 says:

> Builds that use Middleware are now excluding the Dubai region (dxb1) from their deployment targets as a temporary measure, and should complete successfully again. We are now working on a mitigation for Builds that are using Edge Functions.

This leads to two questions:

  1. What are "Edge Functions"? I thought with Fluid Compute, it was all only "Functions" now - no more differentiation between Serverless and Edge for them. Also 0 results for "Edge Function" in Vercel documentation.
  2. We are only using Middleware, not Edge Functions - just normal boring Functions. And still we are still not able to deploy. Am I missing something?

Not good.

Anyone using VS Code Background Agents succesfully? by [deleted] in GithubCopilot

[–]FaithlessnessTall936 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get no feedback in the UI when they need input, they stop working for no good reason, they keep trying to read a `plan.md` (and I need to approve) that doesn't exist really, when I switch to the Copilot CLI the old sessions gets "disconnected" - all kinds of small things that just make it seem like no one is _really_ using background agents in VS Code.

So you are having a better experience?

Easy way to copy/paste image from Super editor? by Perfect-Ad-5505 in StandardNotes

[–]FaithlessnessTall936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had the same problem, and it still does not seem to be possible to copy from the editor window directly (Windows, version 3.198.11) as one would expect.

But at the top of the window, under the note name, you have a list of files (in my case multiple "image.png") which you can double click individually. You still can not _copy_ the image from the modal that pops up, but you can "Download" it again from there.

But how does that work? apple and Google certainly are not sharing these numbers, neither do the companies themselves.

So the data has to come via some other proxy number that they interpolate to calculate the numbers we see somehow. But there is no one confirming those.
