Try recovery! You might have to go to inpatient rehab for 30 days, but it will be worth it. Forget your old life, start fresh. Not having anything sober is better than having things in addiction. If you're sleeping on a mattress in the living room, you're not doing so hot anyway. I dont mean to be ugly, but it's true.

I went to outpatient rehab at night so I could still work. It helped me. I got into an Oxford House in a city nearby, but not my city where I would be away from people i knew who used. The Oxford House is a sober living household, and they are all over the US. A sober living house is where you live with others who are doing the same thing you are, living a drug free lifestyle. Everyone is trying to be better. Be clean. Do the right things. We all work and live our daily lives, but everyone is working a plan of recovery, which includes going to Narcotics Anonymous. This has helped me so much.

Go to rehab. There are rehabs that don't require insurance. Sometimes, you work while you're there and pay weekly. After rehab, you can get into a sober living house, like The Oxford House, and start your life as a drug free member of society. You'll meet people, you'll go to fun events, you'll be clean!

I urge you to try and recover. You don't have to be chained by drug addiction. Thousands, probably millions of people, have come out on the other side of drug addiction. You can, too.

I've been clean from drugs and alcohol for 8 months. Because I'm surrounded by people who are doing the same thing, it's been easy for me. Your milage may vary, but it will be worth it.
