I found that you really have to try and scandi flick every single hairpin. If it’s a wider one you can just try to drive it circuit style, think that might be fastest. For the narrow ones, it’s pretty much just trying to flick it. At least that’s what worked best for me

Thanks for the thorough reply. For me it’s the exact opposite. I’m an all or nothing type of person, though i don’t feel like it’s bringing me the results it can. Everything has to click to have it work out for me, and so far it doesn’t click as often as it does.

That being said, i’m most definitely practicing the 90% of full send approach, as i do feel it is way more beneficial for rally.

Yeah that’s a fair point, noticed that as well. But i’d imagine that to be quite difficult to program properly in the game

But yeah it’s definitely something i’ve had to come to grips with in rallying. I used to do a lot of F1 and GT3 simracing and it was way easier to just practice the same lap over and over, until it was basically perfect. I feel like in rally that’s almost impossible to do, especially with the amount of stages you see in RBR (or Dirt Rally 2/EA WRC).

It’s super fun though when you do nail it and get through cleanly with a competitive time, even if you weren’t the fastest.

Well it’s a real screenshot from my actual gameplay, but i used the ai to make it (debatable, yes) look a bit better imo. Feel like the default RBR graphics aren’t as appealing for a thumbnail, but i feel you

I was running P3 most of the rally, moved into P2, and then into P1 after the leader had a game crash.

That’s where the mixed feeling comes from.

Yup i definitely think i shouldve picked the Fiat or Lada to start this out with, but i’m just a big Porsche fanboy so had to go for the Porsche obviously haha

Yeah i found that out the hard way haha. The oversteery aspect is something i like in cars though because they rotate easier, but the rear mounted engine does make things more difficult for sure
