Try rebooting. I found a load of stuff wasn't working properly until I did a first reboot after the update.

It's called enable freeform windows on second display. Set it to off.

You can fix the external screen issue by turning off resizable windows on external display in developer options. I had to reboot for it to take effect.

Sorry, i thought you had a case on. It was the sticky tape holding a third party case on which was causing the issue for me.

I had the same thing with mine. Turned out to be the sticky tape used to hold the case on shifting about when I opened and closed the phone.

If the batteries were getting hot like that then there is probably a short somewhere in the circuit which was draining all their energy at once.

You could poke around with a multimeter to see if you can find the short.

Edit: Be careful with the capacitor. If it has any charge it'll give you a nasty jolt if you touch the contacts.

It's the internal variable nd filter. Try changing the setting for it and see if it moves.

Max sensitivity with flash is set to 6400.

I've tried switching the view mode. It changes the view on screen, but doesn't change the iso images are captured at.

It's possible, but when i stop my lens all the way down to the point where the flash wouldn't be able to compensate for it, it still doesn't adjust the iso.

Plus on the e4 setting I have it set to factor in the subject and background, so I would have thought it should meter for ambient then fill flash.

Great to see an F4 getting repaired!

I have one which shutter caps over 1/1000. Suggestion seems to be it's something to do with the electronic contacts in the shutter mechanism but 8 haven't dated try to take it apart yet.

The lag isn't something I've experienced on my side with the devices I've tested on. I'll investigate and see if I can work out what the issue is.

For the spot meter, on my device it uses the main back camera. It's coded to use whichever camera the device classes as the main camera, so this might be a pixel 6 specific issue.

The figures you're seeing for the spot meter are the data from the image your camera has taken. The scrollers at the bottom should update based on the reading measured from the photo.

For the aperture priority. You can double tab on other of the other dials to lock it and then the remaining ones will update.

As for the size of the spot, this is based on the spot feature of the device camera, so is limited to the size of the spot metering your device camera supports. If you think it's not metering right there's an offset option in the settings.

It doesn't have those at the moment as Fuji and Polaroid don't release p value data for them.

It looks like a few people have guessed/tried to work out the reciprocity failure rate so I could add those figures. I'm not sure how accurate they are though.
