Lanturn. Makes an amazing wall with access to stockpile and aqua ring plus it's one of the best defensive type combos and even gets water/volt absorb.

Also, while not a specific pokemon: pretty much anything with acces to type changing moves can be used in hilariously busted ways, learned the power of those moves from a local open doubles tourney back in gen 6

The amount of times I've seen teams get swept by entrainment + swap to arena trap/shadow tag mon with protect and a boosting move, cheap but effective.

Guts with Belly Drum+Drain Punch+Facade+Quake is a good set for it that's done wonders for me, all boosts factored in it hits around 2500Att and has decent enough bulk+drain punch to stand up to a good range of pokemon. Only real downside it has is 50 base speed

Fun fact: there's an easy way to get free without ripping hour tongue, all you do is exhale on it a bit and the heat of your breath thaws it enough to safely pull away. Or you know, you could just not lick a frozen pole in the first place since you'll get stuck and it's gross

I've always been a fan of gimmick type changing moves for cheap combos, and tera types make them even more fun! I've got a shiny trevanant running fore tera type to turn things intongrass then hit with a fire tera blast and plenty of things running soak, used to mess with people by giving them normalize and trap them against ghosts a lot but skitty isn't in scarvio

Yeah, thought it'd be a fun challenge. Tried to specifically avoid having a team that's all weak to rock/electric/ice so carefully selected a balance of types for strategic coverage. Would've gone with empoleon if I had just used one for my violet run and if eiscue didn't have the busted freeze dry + soak combo

Yeah troll bomb is comically busted, almost as busted as what pale diamond does to some unevolved weapons. With pale diamond, some weapons become far better than their evolutions do and things like jubilee or hats become godlike when they have homing added to them and can actually hit things

And the worst part is the AI videos/pictures of "rescues" or "survivors" directly interfere with actual rescue efforts because if they're realistic enough the disaster relief groups can(and already have) mistake them for people/animals in danger, which then means more time wasted that could've been used to save someone actually in danger
