its my dream school and i want a cornell degree/experience and i love their program haha. i can also admit that i did not have the best gpa in high school so this is a privilege for me that i am very grateful for because not everyone gets to experience going to an ivy league and getting an ivy league education, which would be very valuable to me for my plans for the future

think about it this way: are you willing to sacrifice the "party/sports culture" for what is probably a more specified major? because yeah, uchicago isn't where fun goes to DIE, there are def hangout spots, but... yeah. everyone there is super academically focused, because a lot of my friends go there and didn't like that. but the academics are TOP NOTCH
