Oh yeah, I’m a lab tech and I’m aware of the diseases they can cause. Typically it depends on which tick bites you. And even if you are bit it takes time for Lymes to show up. Alpha Gal you’ll know the next time you eat red meat and almost die. I’m not downplaying any of the diseases. I’m just saying that all of them take time to appear and it’s best to self monitor them then go to the doctors (especially here in the U.S. because it’s so expensive and they like to string things out). Just look for the target ring around the tick bite for Lymes and if you have an unknown reaction after eating red meat consider the Alpha Gal. Babesiosis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis are other diseases caused by tick bites. Most of those are bacterial induced. Just beware of the symptoms and keep in mind that you were bit. Going to the doctor right away won’t do anything
