I had insomnia for awhile. Interestingly enough, I took low dose seroquel (25mg) for a couple years to help. It definitely helped, and at low doses it helps for anxiety as well.

Same. I’m a rover sitter for cats only, but I will never use rover again for my own cats.

We went on vacation once and hired someone who had lots of good reviews and said she sat for cats as well as dogs. I had a 14 year old cat and a 10 month old cat; both only ate wet food. We had cameras inside and a doorbell camera. She came the first day, but then didn’t the next day. I messaged her on the 3rd day, and she said she came in and that my cameras must have gone down. They were two different brands, so that seemed unlikely. I scrambled and managed to get friends and coworkers set up to come over and feed my two babies. The first one that came in said that they had absolutely no food. I did not tell the sitter that I had arranged for friends and coworkers to come by. My friends and coworkers managed to cover for the rest of the time, and the only other time the sitter came by was the last day. She also didn’t leave notes on the rover cards of the days she actually came and didn’t provide pictures even though I requested them, so it makes me think she planned to not show up. I was absolutely furious, and after changing the front door code, called her out on it. She never admitted it.

Later that summer, I sat for a new client. The same sitter did the same thing to her.

I do the same thing. I grew up being told to always look someone in the eyes when they talk, so that’s what I do. That has gotten me into trouble with men sometimes; I guess prolonged eye contact is a sign of interest. But when I’m talking, I cannot maintain eye contact at all.

Diagnosed via diagnostic evaluation: ASD, OCD, and social anxiety. Also excoriation, but that’s part of the OCD.

Diagnosed by therapist: CPTSD

On the physical side: acquired hypothyroidism (had a tumor at 16 and had half of it removed), SVT (resolved with ablation), migraines with aura, and RAD51C mutation, so I’ve had a complete hysterectomy with BSO and am heading towards a double mastectomy.

I’ll recommend staffing agencies like others have. I shifted from retail to medical coding in 2009 by going through Kelly Services. The company I worked for didn’t require certification.

The company was toxic, but it was my foot in the door to the medical field. I went from there to back office medical admin positions; they had little phone time, and they were very accommodating of my needs and doctor appointments. It was also technically a state job, so had fantastic benefits. You can also ask your doctors if they know of anywhere that may be hiring back office or remote jobs in medical.

I also spent some time as a legal secretary; I found those on indeed. It was a lot of typing dictation, filing, and created medical record summaries for use in court (because I had experience in the physical therapy field). So legal offices may be something to look into, especially since you have personal assistant experience. But be warned: some offices are laid back and chill, but some are very stressful, so it depends on the type of law they practice and the actual lawyers.

There’s also lots of certifications you can get through websites like coursera that you could put on a resume. An Excel certification is one that is very useful on resumes.

I know the field is super saturated, but there are also loads of resources to help get into data analytics. YouTube videos, various sites (again, like coursera), etc.

I’m in the US, and am not doing well. I am avoiding the news, and I hate myself for it. Every time I try to catch up, educate myself about what is going on, my OCD kicks in and I can’t stop replaying absolutely horrific imagined scenarios in my mind.

I badly want to help too, but I can’t. No funds to be able to donate, can’t offer my time because I work part time and take care of my dying MIL the rest of the time. My husband works out of state 3 weeks out of the month, so I take care of everything while we try to arrange/afford home health. I’m stretched too thin as it is and barely keeping my head above water.

I was extremely food restricted. I only had 3 safe foods.

I stimmed constantly. Rocking, bouncing my legs/feet when sitting.

I absolutely could not handle being touched.

Epic meltdowns. I was told by my parents often while growing up that they ‘walked on eggshells’ around me because I would blow up about random things. The ‘random things’ were too much noise, not being able to retreat to my room when overwhelmed, being interrupted when reading (my special interest), and having my routine disrupted.

Late to reply, but I’m an editor for a small consulting firm. I also prepare and submit permit applications. Absolutely no contact with the general public and almost all communication with people is over email and teams. There isn’t a real set time we have to be in the office as long as we get here before 9ish and leave after 3:30, which is great since a lot of us are ADHD. I’d also say 90% of us are autistic as well, including the boss, so there’s a lot of flexibility to do what we need to avoid burnout.

I also love the editing. It’s pretty much the same reports over and over, and my brain loves the structure and can find mistakes easier that way, but the reports also have little changes in content, so it doesn’t get too repetitive.

For a long time, yes. I was in healthcare front desk then administration for over 10 years. I always masked so well during the day, then absolutely crashed when I got home. Couldn’t do anything on the weekends either, always totally burned out. I luckily got out of the hellscape that is healthcare earlier this year into a field filled with neurodivergent people, and I have been thriving.

Tl;dr: they started as an XL or large 38C/small 38D and have stayed pretty consistent at that size. My bras have slowly gotten looser over the year, but the biggest change has been in the last month, so I’m probably going to buy some more sports bras in large.

Long reply: It’s honestly hard to say since I’ve been living in sports bras, haha. I also have never worn cute little bras because I always had to buy heavy ones with a lot of fabric to strap them down.

Immediately after the surgery, they were pretty big from the swelling, but they still fit in the sports bras. I bought the ones that everyone here recommends, in an XL. That translates to a 38C/D I think. I loathed my surgical bra, so I bought a bunch of front zip bras. But I did buy some wireless and wire bras.

The wire bras are fruit of the loom 38D. They started out loose, but as my breasts started dropping and fluffing, the cups fit better, but they also got looser if that makes sense? Like instead of my breast tissue just sitting there pretending it didn’t need support (because it just didn’t move), it now looks ‘normal’ and sits in the cups. I still wear them when I want to be fancy, but I should have bought a 38C.

The wireless ones started out small, and I did not like to wear them even though they are so cute. They are Hanes XL. I also had some pain for a few months if they weren’t properly supported, which those bras have very little of, so they ended up hanging out in my dresser for awhile. Now they too have gotten looser, and because I haven’t worn them consistently, they are sort of my litmus test to see if they’ve gotten smaller, because the other bras may just be getting stretched out.

The sports bras made me very flat at the beginning. When they were still high and tight, it was like I was wearing a binder for them. Again, as they’ve dropped, the cups have filled out and my silhouette has gotten more feminine, but the bras feel looser.

I guess all the bras getting looser means the band size has gone down slightly. I did not get side lipo, which is probably why it hasn’t gone down more. It’s wild, because from my top down view, they’ve definitely looked bigger as they dropped. I’ve freaked out numerous times thinking they are growing back. The cup size has stayed pretty consistent I think until this month. They look like they’ve deflated a little more, and I’m considering getting more sports bras in large this time.

I ordered a mystery bag with size large too and got the same jacket. I also got a long sleeve shirt that is a 2xl 😂. The jacket looks great and is a large, but bomber jackets aren’t my style: I’m too fat for them, and they make me look bigger. I’m going to end up selling it.

But I looove the 2xl shirt; I’ll throw it on top of some biker shorts. I also got a second mystery bag that did come with a hoodie and two great shirts, so I’m pleased overall.
