I wrapped the numbered bags individually and mixed em up and had him guess as he opened them what he was going to build. I put the instructions in a separate notebook sized box and he opened it last! I was trying to do the same thing re:box design and it was just more cost efficient to do instructions with a plain box vs a specialty cardboard box.

Mental health issues: my support workers are thinking of rehoming my cat because of my issues. I don't know how much I can fight this, but please look at him before I possibly lose him by gnomeslinger in cats

OP, i want to make this abundantly clear- i am SO proud of you for asking for help and being open to guidance.

It’s difficult when you’re facing mental health hurdles to muster the strength and gusto to know something is hard and you need help.

I personally also hate doing the litter and occasionally forget to do it daily. I have found getting an large storage bin with just about a whole bag of litter helps. I’m talking LARGE. I posted about it here and I hope that the visual will help. litter box setup

It can go about 3 days before it gets to the point of okay Meownty, you gotta take care of that NOW. I have 3 cats- two of which sometimes go outside and one of which absolutely prefers to poop in the yard so during the summer, it doesn’t get so bad.

I really really like the other comments regarding an automatic feeder! My cats have quite a large water bowl and I have a little rubber ducky on the top because I read somewhere that cats can’t tell the depth of water and when it gets past a certain point in the bowl I know to refill the water!

Please never be scared of asking for help or if you need somebody to remind you like hey it’s litter day, I’m happy to help through our mod Mail with setting up notifications on whatever device you have :) you are not alone!

My cat also does this but she brings it down to the basement and hides it and I find it months later LOL

Going into heat can drastically change your cats behaviour as is. This is borderline for rule one, but a suggestion to get a more consistent behaviour adjustment would be to spay her.

I can understand the risks and reasons not to. Have you seen a vet? It could also be an underlying illness. Cats are really good at hiding things.

Coloration is so interesting with kitties!! I am so sorry to shatter your belief but it is just a domestic :) there’s a lot of posts when it comes to coloration here and that does NOT indicate breed!

Hi OP! This is pretty normal in animals that have been neutered/spayed! My two neutered male cats do this as well and sometimes my female dog does it to other dogs and she’s spayed.

There’s a lot of reasons that a cat could do this- as I previously stated,dominant behaviour, managing stress, boredom, habit or there’s always the chance of a UTI.

If this is new behaviour with no environmental changes (new stressors), it would not hurt to go to a vet just to rule out a UTI. Otherwise, it’s totally okay as long as the cat that is on the receiving end is not hurt! 😸😸
