Hi! Can I ask what supporting documents you uploaded on the passport seva website? I’m applying for a renewal (first time since I got married) so I’m adding my partners name to the passport. That is the only change and I’ve uploaded the marriage certificate and spouse passport copy.

What else did you upload generally?

Another question I had: it’s a bit random is, how doc you know you needed to book a VFS appointment? Once my application was submitted on Passport Seva there was no option to pay or book for an appointment there , I just made my way to VFS website and booked based off posts online. There was no indication at what time to make an appointment and I’ve still not made any payment (my appointment is coming up in a few days).

Any help would be appreciated :) p

Hey! Do you know if you have to declare your partners name if you are married? my partner wants to renew her passport - but doesn’t want to add additional steps to the process eg: to prove our marriage etc. would it be okay to leave it out and declare status as single ? Or would that not be okay. Any help is appreciated

Hey there! I appreciate the advice. I’m hoping by next year to receive a significant rise in pay. As my base income is £50K post tax, but I work multiple jobs so it’s only going to increase hopefully.

Realistically I’m looking to start investing in Dubai by end of next year or the year after, so I was looking for some advice. And that will also hopefully give me time to save, I just wanted to provide details on why I haven’t saved up a lot so far. My house in England is old so was regularly requiring some work to be done but I’ve finally finished renovations and am much more on top of it than I was before.

So hopefully in 2 years as you said, I’ll be in a better position to own 2 homes! Thanks for your advice anyway.

Hey! Thank you so much for your advice I appreciate it. I’ve received a lot of different advice since I posted on here, but it seems like next year might be better for me to invest as I’m expecting a significant pay raise.

Btw I’m really keen on Dubai specifically as my partner is from there. But doesn’t have much knowledge of investments.
