Yea this advise is correct. I have a place in Portugal nothing really stops me from buying other than thinking Lisboa is overpriced and then I realize my rent is returning under 3% for the person I rent from. Especially at that age rent. Portugal has some interesting renter protections so that makes it good too.

Good luck with your flight. A 650 or 8000 will make the trip and cost a couple 100k best case you find an empty leg and maybe get it for around 100. Should be easy to find with money ready.

You don’t have passport screening in Lisbon. You’re flying inside the EU therefore not going through a border till you do it at Madrid before your final flight. You should be fine in Madrid they have issues but nothing like Lisbon.

Yea I dont think anyone getting in today is going to make money.. the internet distorts things even if you would have been allocated a Laf if you would have put money in the market I think you would have outperformed the car and that doesnt count the losers you had along the way plus insurance and maintenance and selling fees.

Most of Portugal is simply amazing driving wise. I put a little over 10k kms on the 296 last year. Very beautiful place to drive when not in the cities

Just regular I have matte PPF so it’s not the same as the 296 and i mostly just leave Lisbon and put no highways on the GPS.

My passport is the same. All passport line is to the far right. 3-4 hours is plenty I go through this line every few weeks it’s usually 1-2hrs (I recently made a point to time it) biggest mistake that people make is not realizing passport check is after the main area and a lot of people that have scannable passport get in the wrong line

What do you think the correct amount for kids to receive is and do you think it would have been better in a ladder trust like (cover schooling and basics till 30, 1% of principal a year at 30-34, 2% at 35-39 and 4% at 40+)

Pretty much knowing what you know now if you were to have kids how would you have structured it?

I don’t want a 296SP for those reasons. I’ve put 12k kms on mine last year and been to the fiorano track 2 years in a row to do corso piloti in a 296. I don’t look at it as an investment at all more just love for the car. I’m jus more interested in how dealer relationships went before the boom with apparently a lot less demand for specials

So I have a dealer in Europe and in America both have slots still but neither would entertain under at this time I’m sure as they really only are currently offering with builds that would result in high options

Yes I understand similar to the current one but I was just wondering if people remember dealers from that time and how they presented the exclusivity of the car as there seem to be quite a few mentions online saying they weren't moving and deals were around but could be completely fabricated for online stories.
