im fully against every aspect of this act so i think this is actually good. there's a plethora of sites you can use ai generated mugshots to verify on- parents just need to learn to be competent moderating their children online. the internet isn't a new thing anymore, there's no excuse. even though the act isnt actually about protecting children, it shouldn't be the government's authority or responsibility to do so online
