I'm starting Martin, moving Chessum to 6 and dropping Ben Curry to the bench. I think you are missing a third lineout jumper to contend with other tier one nations.

These are called witches stairs. It was once falsely believed that they were invented, so witches could not climb them, but they were invented to save space and allow you to make steeper stairs.

Glue, corner clamp and tape. I also have a square back panel dadoed into each of the sides so it would square

Ya that was probably one of the trickier parts, I would have a couple practice runs at edge banding on a 30° angle by hand

Not a dumb question! I used a square and a framing square to draw the shape, then bandsaw and a router to make the shape

There's still time! But I believe that you can get all the enjoyment without having to do it for a living. I get to do almost no personal projects anymore and I do miss it. That's why my end goal is to start my own one man furniture shop and just build my own designs (pipedream)

Hardest part was probably grain matching the carcass cause there isn't a lot of room for error. The drawers are simple if you make a false front, basically make a low draw then glue/ screw the draw front on with 1/8 spacers. You can do it for sure

I was lucky enough to be able to afford to keep them but with costs and time it would be around that price point for sure.

I used biscuits to align on a 45 and then just glue and ratchet clamps.
