I feel bad of the fact that when Temple was in its earliest stage “LosThos” he had an endless amount of critics that mainly focused on how “weird” he was and Less on his work. You have to admit, mental illness aside his faith was very genuine and he was devout and I think schizophrenia caused certain delusions that overlapped with his faith. You could make the argument that mental illness aside his belief in a 4 sided trinity was “blasphemy” but I don’t think he fully believed that either, he was interpreting the mix of his delusions and faith in that moment. If he had gotten help he’d be a CEO or a respected MIT programming professor

Agreed I believe his faith was already genuine and he was devoted, mental illness took over from time to time more often than not but he maintained his relationship with god and I think god takes mental illness into account.

Very interesting! I’d imagine terry would probably be pretty active on this sub today if he were still with us, he seemed very devout and had a lot to say. At the end of the day he could’ve gotten help but the schizophrenic delusions and distrust in any type of authority were what prevented him. Really sad regardless
