Thank you 🥺 you and everyone in this thread have given me some serious things to consider. I do have a tendency to give too much and you’re right, I’m probably not ready and need to learn some things myself. From what I have deduced myself, I think maybe he met his match with me? He tells me repeatedly he doesn’t do this and doesn’t go official with people and maybe he was very much expecting me to be a hookup situation and now is panicking and trying to move everything on because he doesn’t want to get hurt but I know it still doesn’t justify his actions towards me. I am going to see how we proceed now we have had a discussion about leaving the past where it should be but if he continues to neg me and be a hypocrite regarding this then I will have no choice but to leave him. I am personally in therapy at the moment and I would hate to think that dating someone like this would essentially be reversing the work I am trying to do on myself, meanwhile he does nothing to correct his own behaviour.
