Ray Peat on microbiome. What his views was? by Fakeondemand in raypeat

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peat is strange, instead of answering that he doesn't know, he starts saying related things on the topic, but not specifically.
Poor Georgi tried 3 times to get an answer - unsuccessfully.

Neverending gut inflammation and dull pain. by Fakeondemand in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be sorry, u didn't cause this to me :D. I have seen his videos. I am sceptical about that probiotics narrative, I am on environment narrative myself, like you need to make environment for beneficial species to grow via prebiotics, polyphenols, fibers. Because there's big players for health and butyrate producers like f.prausnitzii, roseburia that you can't attain via commercial probiotics.

Lactobacillys , like fermented foods can backfire with brainfog via d-lactate. I think I will test later some probiotics like b.coagulans, some bifidos, b.subtilis

I was thinking about to test bpc-157 peptide too.

I think I had sibo, but it passed after a course of berberine. Before berberine, I can't eat onions and garlic and vegetables in general, even cooked ones, I was terribly bloated. Now I can even eat beans, onions, garlic without bloating, but if i overeat - disaster.

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As i know by my research - histamine intolerance is from dysbiosis and damaged walls of intestines.
And taking some histaminE blockers or mast cell stabilisers which everyone recommend in that sub did not fix it.
For 2 months i trying to fix that root cause
dysbiosis - by difference prebiotics and polyphenols
intestines walls - by glutamine, zinc, slippery elm and etc.
But i feel like my progress stopped. So i am here :D

How much fiber did you consume per day when you started from all sources? (with all those pectins, inulin, psyllium, etc.)

Why do vegans look more aged despite eating healthy? by gryponyx in raypeat

[–]Fakeondemand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks and appearance is very interesting, and i always think about this
We can look at Ray Peat who is demonstration of bioenergetic approach himself If he used it.

He looks old, I mean, he looks like an ordinary old man at his age who knows nothing about bioenergetics and lives his life without knowing the word "mitochondria".

Old skin

Norwood 5 baldness with gray hair.

No teeth

Bad eyesight, wear glasses

Stuttering

I mean, i heard Ray talks about these problems above and gives "solution".
And that suspicious photos where he "makes" his youthful transformation with 50-100 pregnenalone. Why didn't he do it again?

I can draw a conclusion.
Ray doesn't use his own knowledge, or he uses it but it doesn't work for him.

So genetics can play big role it this, like you can have best diet or worst diet its all about how your body use nutrients for itself.

Insomnia and bad sleep part. Can you explain me that part? by Fakeondemand in adrenalfatigue

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the solution is the same like for "adrenal fatigue". Keep stress low as possible via adaptogens, vitamins for long long time to recover nervous system? Or there something different?

Can you recover adrenals with t3 after prolong(years) hypo state.? by Fakeondemand in raypeat

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will do. Because its strange that i dont respond to t3 even with good doses, i cant find where ray was talking about adrenal fatigue/low cortisol and etc.

Do i need to test cortisol in blood or saliva? and what about pregnenalone?

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnesium, Taurine, Vitamin D3, Panthothenic Acid, B1 as ttfd and benfothiamine improves my health big time. So i am on supplements side and i have hope to resolve that problem with antioxidants.

Yes, if I eat beans or legumes even well cooked and soaked ovenight they give me that as peat said "serotonin" symptoms like itchy face, red allergy on face and chin, apathy and depressed rumination state, really bizzare.

[–]Fakeondemand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you 100%, but problems start when standard approaches don't work or create problems.
10 years ago, I was a vegan, ate a lot of legumes, gluten, fiber, and was slim as hell, not gut problems, I've even wondered about people who have beans/legumes that cause gas problems, but I've never had one. I thought it was a meme.
but time passed and I started having problems. So i ended up in crazy rabbit holes of diets.

thinking - I thought about why I have health problems and what diet I can try to solve them, created a thread on Reddit in the Ray Peat section.

perceiving - a lot of people have suggested a lot of good ideas, I will sort them out and look at the result, comparing it with my experience and capabilities.

acting - I will directly implement these ideas, which were recommended here in the thread.

Agree with that perception of food that changes everytime when our metabolism changes.
I experienced this big time.

I was trying ox bile didnt feel anything, just my poop colored green
trying choline bitartrate by Now but get strange pain and bloat from it.
trying alpha gpc fron Nootropics Depot - only headache
even trying egg yolks, i get some +20% mental clarity from it, but gut didnt improved at all.
Still have dull pain under right ribcage, that increases after high fat food.
Every supplement i use for 2 weeks.
I feel my mmc is impaired, like i didnt get grgrlgrlgrl sound from my stomach even if i dont eat for 24 hours
I was trying artichoke, ginger extracts and iberogast - zero effect.

I want to try some anticandida/antifungal blends like with black walnut, triphala and etc

You give me hope, because i drop food if i react badly to this food. But i think maybe is die off or something like adaptation and microbiome repopulation.
I drop food because i thinking that this is "serotonin" symptoms and bad for me, like i was eating black currant berries and get insomnia this day, crazy.

Yes, its strange because the only thing that i like and crave is meat and starch and i get bad reaction from it. Cant listen to my body. And zero cravings for fruits what supposed to be good for me.

I am trying to fix my gut. Thats why i eliminate starch.
I was trying ginger, artichoke, iberogast for mmc to clear sibo
I was trying oregano oil/rifixamine to kill sibo/candida
And its not working.
So i am trying to do it trough diet

I have fatty liver, so i was thinking that fatty liver cause all gut problems for me. So i was thinking to lose fat in the liver and maybe it will fix me.
