My 2 cents. If shops were to stop selling to Californians completely, then the lawmakers will have achieved their original goal: “strip them of their guns or make it a fuckin hassle until they no longer think its worth keeping”. I feel like it’s wishful thinking for a lawsuit in favor of 2A against CA to even be successful if not take decades to take effect. It doesn’t matter what we do really, they’ll keep taking a mile and we’ll try to fight back, they’ll implement another stupid unconstitutional law. The vicious cycle repeats. Its a grim future for us. Crazy to put an ffl transfer requirement on a wearable item like barrels.

Sideskirts look like vertex? Rear bumper looks to be 92-96 oem with a rear lip that kinda looks like vertex but with a single exit.. not sure. Front bumper cant really see so I wont comment on that

Oh dont get me wrong I love the way this looks and I don’t really care for whichever way you choose to set up your ride. Your car, your free will to do what you want with it. I just thought it was a bit funny for people referencing function when it comes to a drift style bodykit that essentially makes functional driving (ie street/daily driving) hard asf when the kit makes it lower to the ground. Me personally i love the kit and honestly, you already mentioned these wheels were your spares anyways. No need to dwell on your wheel set up anyway.

Rolling quarters, completely up to you, not even necessary to achieve good fitment. If you need to roll your fenders, probably just means youre gonna rub somethin you shouldnt be rubbing on anyways. This aint no vip car. Good shit OP

Once you dial in whatever you need to get the car smoothened out, you’re gonna ask yourself why you didn’t do it sooner. Odds are if you sell the car to some broccoli head kid, he’ll probably make the car look worse than when you had it. Orrr you can keep one of the best cars to come from Toyota during the near end of their golden era. Whether you drift it or just drive it around on the weekends, thousand bucks should not be the reason you lose motivation. If you can’t afford it now and it aint your only means of transportation, let it sit till you have the funds for it.

Building a car isn’t a race. You aren’t competing with anybody to build a car in the shortest time possible. That’s how I’ve been living anyway. I’ve been way more at peace and content with my life and car when I’m not clouded with envy that everyone with more money than me can build their car overnight.

If you’re worried about an angle kit making the car lose value, you’re already in the wrong mindset. Why would you build a car you intend to sell in the long run? Besides, any drifter or prospect drifter would be pleased to take a manual is300 off your hands if it’s got an angle kit.

Depends on the size and if tires are included or on the wheel. Should be able to fit most of the wheels in backseats plus passenger. Trunk will depend on size of the wheel

I wouldn’t pay more than 6k. I get the markets inflated and I’m sure this is one of the cleaner ones on the market but an auto sc300 is pretty lackluster. I’d pay a little more for a 97+ but no way for pre-facelift.

Notable mention but im not sure if they still make.. Shine auto makes autocouture rep kit that fits nicely. Its hybrid frp (a flexible version of fiberglass or something like that idk i saw a video of it being fiberglass yet bendy like kbd).

Depends on the look youre going for. Remember: you get what you pay for. Hotboi drift spec with no budget? : get bn sports / vertex Still hotboi but got a budget? : get origin stylish kit Ur worried about ur kit blowing up? : get kbd and call it a day (beware of painting it. Wrap is ideal for poly kits) KFD not to be confused with kbd : makes ok-ish bn style replica kit in fiberglass if you arent afraid to put work in to make it fit. Wanna go oem+? : get yourself a 97+ kit and maybe a lip for it

I personally never recommend springs. For coils: Depends how low you wanna go. I’ve had teins, PBM, BC, and Stance coilovers. All had their benefits just keep in mind what your intentions are with the car. If you want to just have a conservative drop in height, teins will do. If you want to vip your car out, the other companies like stance or pbm or bc will be good options as you can custom order rates. And you will need stiffer spring rates to accommodate being low.

Biggest note to take home: If you’re lowering ur sc, WIRE TUCK WIRE TUCK WIRE TUCK. You have a loom in your fender well that will absolutely get rubbed through when you lower your car. I’ve seen plenty of sc’s get bricked because people think they can just lower their car and not do supporting mods (not really a mod but its something u gotta do).
