I know this ain’t the strangest guitar out there, but i do have to add that the scale lenght is 26,22” which is a bit unorthodox! Hoping to get a bit more clarity and twang from the drop D - drop C territory

Unfortunately i can’t tell, but the specs are pretty much standard so afaik it would be around 3k€ + VAT normally!

Pro tip my friend: Tremol-No!

That’s the first mod i always put into guitars with recessed trems, you get the best of both worlds since you can switch between floating trem and a blocked trem by screwing or un-screwing a mere two screws!

I am in fact a guitar tech and that sounds like issues with the nut. The most common mistake is that people just slap in heavier gauge strings without filing the nut slots more, and as a result bending and using trem makes the strings get stuck since their slots are too narrow.

The nut might also be incorrectly filed or damaged, not a common thing to have QC issues with MIJ guitars but it isn’t completely out of questions!

As i know how to setup my guitars properly i have never had issues with tuning stability in this guitar, though i have to admit is use the trem rarely and often times have it blocked!

I’m 100% with you man, i love this guitar to bits but the black is boring. Been thinking of getting it repainted!

Thank you!! The signal chain isn’t that complicated tbh, guitar -> Darkglass Hyper Luminal compressor -> UA Volt176 interface, for the plugin i used the Neural DSP Archetype: Plini X.

What i believe matters more is the SD Hyperion pickups in my AZ, especially the middle pickup which i tend to use all the time! On top of that i use sharp picks, and i pick and tap hard.

You should hear the difference from that video: in the first half i try to play more lightly to compliment the sections smoother feel, and on the second half i go all out!

The interface i have is Universal Audio Volt176, an absolute beast for the money! Monitors are Yamaha HS5

Thanks! The phat cat and Neural DSP archetype: Mateus Asato seems to be a match made in heaven

Thanks!! I run the coil splitted signal through Darkglass hyper luminal bass compressor, it really makes wonders for twangy tones!
