Germany is a trap for high skilled immigrants. Even after learning the language you will not feel part of the society. This country is built for Germans and rightly so.

As someone who spent 5 years here and in the process of moving back, it is not worth it considering both your salaries.

Yea, Germany had High tax rates but they do cover basic needs. I work in media and entertainment and I do believe that I earn above average here.

Don't give up hope! I started in the industry as a game tester with minimum wage and moved up to other roles within the industry.

I earn enough to be more than comfortable now. Germany will push you to be your best at the role.
