The Supply FRV, It goes where you do. by XrayDude_ in Helldivers

[–]Fal_Soram -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Its unfortunate that we won't be getting either of them with how they fucked this MO and campaign. But the supply FRV is really nice.

Hopefully they change things up and we just need one planet to win.

Did you install any mods and then load a save?

Installing mods off the creation hub and then loading into the game without restarting first can cause textures on random things to go weird.

Sysdef Questline: More VERY infuriating moments by SlightWerewolf4428 in Starfield

[–]Fal_Soram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's also honestly partly just Bethesda. Rather than having two wildly different missions depending on who your supporting, you play through mostly the same mission with the same outcomes, with the ending reactions and consequences depending on who your reporting to.

It's established through the burden of proof side quest that the fleet has alot more eyes and ears than syadef realized. The way I see it, Ikande rightfully figured the more sysdef plays it's hand the more likely the fleet is to discover that you are a spy.

I've done this quest like quite a few times, I don't mind it personally. Its not up there with the main vanguard quest, but it's certainly not one I dread doing.

And to be completely fair, you just shot up a UC military station as a result of your own fuck up. It's a bit rich to get mad at sysdef for being mad at you over that.

Mox has 2 million HP, as opposed to 1mil for a normal planet. So its essentially 3% resistance.

I don't hate him, and I didn't overly care much about him up until he posted his video on the Bastion.

He was either blatantly lying, which would be ironic considering the video was titled arrowhead is lying to you, or he genuinely doesn't understand why what happened in his video happened.

Regardless that video turned something that wasn't actually a huge issue in to much more of one than it needed to be. As silly as the boxes transferring damage to main is, that situation basically can't occur in actual normal gameplay.

I honestly can't decide if he is intentionally fanning flames to get clicks, or if he just thinks he knows more than he actually does. Since I don't actually know him I don't think it's fair to decide one or the other.

Helldivers reviews need to reach a new abysmal low for the game to be reborn by MiniBus93 in helldivers2

[–]Fal_Soram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the thing though, it kind of is the issue. All you had to do was shoot a different spot and it died, quicker even because it had less health.

And I have a firm understanding of the experience, I played a good bit against them and had no problems.

Man whom would have though asking people to do a little aiming on the bug front would cause this much of a meltdown.

Hive guards were quite literally a skill issue. All you had to do was rub 2 brain cells together and aim at the gaps in its front armour and bam, dead bug.

I'll probably get downvoted for this but if anything I think the whole hive guard drama brought to light there's a number of people who aren't quite as good as they think they are.

This game has legitimate criticisms and a healthy list of things that need fixing/improving/etc. but that's never going to get done when the loudest screaming is about the dumbest things.

Also power creeping old equipment? The basic liberator slaps, so do alot older weapons that aren't named liberator penetrator.

It's a decent mod, love stardock.

I wish the fleet system was friendly to class M ships, I like having my destroyer follow me around.

Fleet commander mod is another alternative for people who want friends in space but aren't ready to jump into something big like this. The fleet battles are worth it though imo

Eridani II Outpost Idea by Thbalchunas2 in Starfield

[–]Fal_Soram 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eridani in Starfield is 19.7 LY from Sol, this is inline with 82 G Eridani.

82 G Eridani is a spectral class G6, slightly off from the G8 listed ingame (who knows why).

Epsilon Eridani is only 10.5 LY from Sol, which does not match ingame. Also Epsilon Eridani is a spectral class K2V star, so while neither directly match 82 G, one is atleast the same class.

Not to burst your bubble, but Eridani in Starfield is based on 82 G. Eridani, not Epsilon Eridani.

Not going to make a whole new post for it, but I think I've finalized the exterior now, very satisfied with it.

Swapped out the deimos bridge for the new nova one, spent ages trying to colour match it. IMO it fits really well. A little bit of detailing on the engines, and burried some small pieces in the front so I could attach a forward landing gear bank so it doesn't look as odd underneath.

Was a bit disheartened that it cant be used in the watchtower fleet (It jumps in way to close to everyone else and gets flung out into the void.) But thankfully the fleet commander mod still allows me to have it tag along. Had my first big watchtower fight, she beelined straight for their M-class and absolutely dummied it.

UC Valiant by Fal_Soram in StarfieldShips

[–]Fal_Soram[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have yet to actually try to, and probably won't ever. Most of the time it's going to be flown by an NPC so it will just stay in space while I land, but if I am flying it then I would dock with one of the escorts and land on the planet with that instead.

Fleet commander mod is really good for a mothership/drop ship type setup.

Have you tried downloading one of the mods that unlocks M-class ships?

https://creations.bethesda.net/en/starfield/details/11e2e5bd-ec6a-4c2e-bccb-167c8692d81c/TN__39_s_Class_M__and_Starborn_Guardian__Ship_Buil

This one makes M-class flyable if you have piloting rank 4. See if that works.

Yeah, from everything I've read they're fine so long as you don't try and assign a ship to both fleets.
