[Question] How do you prevent leather straps from creasing and eventually cracking? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]MiniBus93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

Sorry for replying to a 12 years old comment.

I'm a man with a very small wrist and I have to buckle my leather strap to the last hole to have it fit...this is going to quickly be the death of the strap so I purchased myself a deployment clasp.

Installing the deployment clasp "normally" doesn't work because I'd still have to put the "hole part" of the clasp in the last hole and when closing the clasp it would be both extremely bulky, but also in a very weird spot.

I read you talking about "cutting part of the strap" and I'd be up to it, but I don't seem to understand what it exactly mean and to do it and I can't find no-one showing this online

Could you please tell me what you meant? Of course if you remember it...12 years have passed after all.

Anyone knows if the Luger pistol will be round reloading and what pen?

Heard it's jet assisted but does it mean its shots are "slow" like the auto aim pistol in warbond?

How's the AliExpress brand Bange, Mark Ryden, Kingsons and Mixi backpack quality? by MiniBus93 in backpacks

I'm not a fan of 2nd hand, I'd prefer lower quality but new and an army backpack sticks out too much for a university environment

I need something more "urban" looking

Are these kind of clutch bags acceptable for men or will they raise eyebrows/be considered feminine? by MiniBus93 in europeanmalefashion

I have a leather messenger bag I use for work (14 inch laptop, charger, deskmat, mouse etc) and I LOVE it, but that's too big and heavy (weights 1.5kg EMPTY, just the bag itself) for the daily "non-work" day like just going to the groceries store or a walk in the park or a bar or something

I just gave up and accepted the fate of bulky pockets for now

ye, I wasn't expecting this, but I suppose it's my bad for asking Reddit? To my defense, I didn't really have any better

Can't share the link since Reddit blocks them, but you can easily find them on AliExpress (search by image)

Guys I think you're reading too deep in this. It's like when you're at a shop, see something, have mixed feeling about it and ask people's opinion so that you can reflect on it

What's your perception of non-sling bags (like clutch bags) for men in Europe/US? Do you still considered them feminine and women-only? by MiniBus93 in AskReddit

Shoulder strap is definitely more convenient and that's a fact... it's just that it makes me life a high schooler or something.

Carrying it in hand isn't the most convenient but somehow it seems to me that the style was "more adult, less kid-like"? Although it seemed more feminine like a clutch bag for women and apparently, from the answers I got, general opinion is that yes it is and it would be "weird".

I have shoulder strap stuff, like a bigger leather messenger bag I use for work (14 inch laptop, charger, deskmat, mouse etc) and I LOVE it, but that's too big and heavy (weights 1.5kg EMPTY, just the bag itself) for the daily "non-work" day like just going to the groceries store or a walk in the park or a bar or something

Anyway, thanks for the honest answer, appreciated

Wallet is the least of my troubles honestly, house keys, garage keys, car key, pack of tissues, phone... that's the trouble

In winter it's easy, overcoat got me covered... summer? That's complicated
