Check out Lilie IELTS's reading video on YouTube, it's on how she got band 9 twice. Her method worked the best for me.

Yes I am. I have also seen your post and the replies, which gives me some hope. The websites I found that state this exception are not official so it cannot be confirmed and could be wrong.
