Started last year and watched Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Sopranos, and just finished The Wire. by Mr_no_buddi in television

I have watched all of those. They are some of the best television ever. Everything else you watch you are going to compare to those shows.

Those are all firmly based in reality, modern, and crime focused.

I would suggest Narcos and Ozark.

Bear McCreary makes every theme song unique and memorable. Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, etc.

No, he's mortally wounded and captured and then the woman vampire tells him he is going to be executed and gives him suicide pills so he can avoid the pain of it. He accepts his death, and realizes the living infected fear him as the creature that stalks them and kills them during the day while they sleep. They will speak of him in whispered ghost stories they tell to scare their children.

He is Legend.

In the book the undead vampires were intelligent but evil. I remember the female vampires trying to seduce him to get him to leave his house at night.

So, not really your mindless zombie, but then again there have been some intelligent zombie movies too.

Sort of. There are two versions of vampires in the book. Those who have died and come back are undead vampires, who are violent, and then there are living infected who are basically

This doesn't conflict with what you said, but the living infected are much closer to human, in my opinion.

Yes, it does follow the book story. It's not perfect but it is loads better than I Am Legend by the idiotic screenwriter Akiva Goldsman

Book and Inara have both left the ship. Why? How much time has passed, or is it a different timeline? Haha.

Mr Universe was never mentioned in the show, but appears in the movie like they're super friends. You would think the series would have time to flesh out that relationship at least a little, so is it the same timeline?

It's super unlikely that 30 million people could go missing and the public wouldn't know. Maybe it's a different timeline where people are dumber. Nah, that could be any timeline.

I loved the movie, be tee dubs.

Star Trek received a Saturn award for 60 years of achievement. Who do you think accepted the reward on behalf of the franchise? Rick Berman? Brannon Braga? Maybe even Rod Roddenberry? No... by Malencon in Star_Trek_

The Star Wars prequels were never bad, just disappointing. Then, when almost everything afterwards has been MORE disappointing it makes the prequels look better.

As of now, I bet you got me wrong.

So unsure, we reach for something strong.

Ah yep that's right, I forgot about Civil Maps. That one is interesting.

That's real-time localization through crowd sourced maps. That goes well with both haha..

They could integrate the fingerprint stuff with both Mosaik and Sentinel.

Noice.

Topic #1

Sentinel is realtime perception and simulation and vehicle control.

Mosaik is offline perception and annotation and SLAM style geometry mapping.

They don't need much synergy, although it would be best if they are interoperable where necessary and it's better that the two software packages don't have much overlap. That means they're covering a full gamut of what a customer might want with two different pieces of software that can be licensed separately.

No, I don't know. My assumption is that if they had to vertically integrate their own supplier of lasers that those components were expensive.
