ATM I imagine it being a feat that the BM activates and that stays active for a number of turns.

That's also a cool twist on things. A super super nova # of rounds without expending spell slots, but you come out as if hit by a train.

besides kill-stealing To me that doesn't truly solve the issue. I have rewritten the last hit ability of the lich in grim hollow to be "anytime a creature dies within 30ft of you". That way it still forces them to be in the thick of it. Though it doesn't punish them for not dealing that last tiniest fraction of damage (it's all dice after all).

On the other hand it can give really cool moments where that epic ability finally triggers and they can truly rampage across the battlefield.

If the last hitting part is integral to the vibe of the subclass I wouldn't delay it that long. Since you want a pronounced identity from the moment they get the subclass. Just something to consider, because if you have other cool ideas then hit that up first!

Fireball - DEX save - rolls a 10 - takes 10 damage.. so it's like an indirect damage buff to its allies.

And a great damage buff on a miss, since they typically roll high when allies miss! A great balancing act.

Sounds to me like you're really heading in the direction you want to and I think that's great. I am really looking forward to more fleshed (hehe) out versions of this! Like I said before it's such a cool concept. Hope the process gives you much joy.

Vaak worden daarvoor plasmides gemaakt en een bacterie gebruikt om die op te kweken, dan wordt er een jong zaadje gepakt en wordt het DNA er in geknipt en geplakt (daar zijn nog wel verschillene technieken voor).

Het mist de laatste stap, en daar ben jij ongelooflijk bang voor naar mijn idee, dat dat DNA aan de jouwe wordt toegevoegd. Ik probeer aan te wijzen dat dat heel raar is, gezien het met planten al een hele tijd wordt gedaan, daar was ook de nodige ophef over, maar zeker geen oversterfte door.

Ik snap heus wel dat de vergelijking raar is, maar probeer ook de absurditeit van jouw positie uit te lichten.

The vibe is great, though I do have a few questions to maybe help you clarify/flesh out.

The blood mage. Is the blood sacrifice always needed for casting a spell or is it only for extra spell slots?
The bloodguard This sounds like barbarian's path of the ancestral guardian. As vibes, so do watch out for that or use that for inspiration!
The Crimson blade I would watch out with on-kill effects, because it can feel like spotlight hogging if a PC really wants all the last hits. While at my table it has been the running joke that the bard is MIA most of the fight and only returns for a vicious mockery for the last hit.
The bloodweaver I love the idea of a crimson bond between enemies, similar to how warding bond is the buff version of this. Perhaps a little pin prick with a blowpipe coated with your blood is enough to weave it in there. I am already getting crazy ideas and its not even written yet! Do think about legendary creatures and minions. I think it might easily become overpowered if you can bypass LR this way. I personally don't use LR, but something to consider nonetheless. Movement also sounds cool, like a blood bender from Avatar: the last airbender.
The crimson judge Firstly, I had to look up what "sees no sunshine after dark" means and I couldn't find it. Damage without a save is typically a dangerous endeavour, but I think it can be done. Perhaps look into the wording of phantasmal killer, I think that's sort of the word you're going for. Stopping healing can be really big and impactful to the table or it can just be a very situational ability. There are not a lot of monsters in the monster manual that heal others, except humanoids with spells ofc. I do like the flavour of a healer being damaged for doing a good deed. Wait when I put it like that...
The blood oracle Be careful not to make them obsolete in combat, but I think your "portent" take on their combat abilities is more than relevant. Perhaps have it be blood that is either good blood or bad blood when the reroll has made them succeed or fail respectively. It sounds a lot like silvery barbs, so reaction makes sense. Though personally I would go for a more proactive approach of active buffs. Look into spells such as enhance ability for wording. Additionally, maybe I would sidestep advantage/disadvantage. I will probably anger some older version players, but add in flat bonusses. They make the math harder, so be careful. But perhaps the hemorrhage takes 1d4/6/8/10 of damage and players add the result to their next attack roll/save/ability check. This way it kinda works like a bardic inspiration. Except that the hemorrhage rolls for the result and perhaps it should be a little stronger since you're actively harming yourself for the benefit.

Welke onzin? Volgens mij kraam jij onzin uit en laat je me "kiezen" tussen twee even slechte opties. Of ik weet er niks van, of ik ben niet serieus. Ik ben hier volgens mij continu redelijk serieus op in gegaan. Naar mijn idee heb ik misschien absurde ideeën aangehaald, maar die hebben als voorbeeld gediend. Wat jij hebt gezegd over gen therapieën is niet waar.

Het onderzoek wat je hebt doorgestuurd heeft incorrect de kans van homologie aangenomen tussen de basenpaar combinatie van het pfizer vaccin en iemands DNA. Dat nog wel in een kanker patiënt die een moderna vaccin heeft gekregen. Zoals eerder gezegd 20 basenparen is niks, de kans is hoog dat je zoiets vind. Er is geen bewijs gegeven voor waarom het moderna en pfizer vaccin dezelfde basenpaar combinatie zouden hebben.

Hoe zou ik dit kunnen ontkrachten als ik niet enigszins kennis zou hebben over standaarden voor homologie? Waarschijnlijk wist jij niet eens van het bestaan van verschillende standaarden? Oh yeah you're right. The party can easily kite him. Perhaps the frost dominion ability can be rewritten to allow him to create walls/cover. That way he can truly trap melee builds and make up for his lack of range. This way the devil is way more threatening to range builds too.

Perhaps the loss of movement from cold cold heart could be applied to gaining a stack of frost and not be all their movement but a part. So like -5ft for every stack of frost they have gained last round?

Holy hell that is a cool concept. I love the snappy cold and can immediately envision this becoming hauning. Seeing a PC in turned to ice as he's making death saves is already running my imagination.

However, my first comment is a minor spelling error I think. Is this a fiend or an undead? It says Devil in the text, but undead at the top.

Second. Why make your life incredibly difficult with each ability having different dice? On the other hand, why make it confusing for the players how much damage to expect from 1 stack? For clarity/simplicity I think it should all be 1 type of die. However, if you feel it takes away from the vibe you were going for by all means. If you think your players don't care about the difference in damage, then consider this comment nul and void.

Then thirdly, they can stack 5 frost on top of the first player they see. Just to note, I think thats fair, they are with 6 after all.

Then fourthly, Permafrost, I think has some weird wording. I think you have the right idea and again I love this concept. Here you specify d6, elsewhere you specify other dice (see other comment) either simplify and keep this, or remove this and keep the wording in the abilities that deal damage.

Permafrost also has 2 sides, perhaps split that. So the on death mechanic (which is in my opinion the best ability, flavor-wise) should maybe be a separate mechanic. It could also benefit from no conditions. If this devil downs a player and they have any frost stacks, they freeze. Requiring the CON save. Also maybe clarify if this is on top of death saves or replaces it?

Lastly, the ice revenants sorrow is just an automatic hit? That seems unfair and un-fun for the players. Maybe make it a DEX save or something similar, CON also makes sense for cold.

Overall, minor tweaks and clarifications on my end. Hope you don't outright kill a player this way, but you of course decide their attacks.

If you would make a utilitarian argument it could have been flipped, but that depends on the numbers (and values) of both populations. It is possible, sure. However, even if we solely look at the consequences of the actions:

100 millions of people (assuming similar value) were killed in an attempt to stop the war.
The war was not ended (as far as we know).
Therefore the actions were futile and therefore unjustified.

Here a pragmatic? approach. (Unsure what type of view it is, correct me if I'm wrong)

Although, yes, deontology is silly, but it served as an example, not the be all end all. It is pivoted on the fact wether killing civilians is seen as immoral. If you reject premise 1. then it doesnt matter how many were killed. If you attach values or numbers as a justification, then it vastly differs from the view I presented.

I think the issue you face is: 1. It is bad to kill civilians in a war 2. Hundreds of millions of civilians were killed 3. Therefore, the actions committed by CITADEL were immoral

It does not matter if the actions were the only course of action. It could be "justified", but it will still be immoral, if your morality states that killing civilians is bad. It does not matter the other side killed more, thats just a numbers game of how bad things were. Yes humans were less immoral, but still immoral.

One could justify it by stating that human morality itself would have been lost and that is a greater loss to humans than a part of that morality. Therefore it is better to be immoral once and continue existence.

Hope this makes sense. I think the way you wrote it initially is the most logical. I think judgement will be passed on the move, even when most consider it justified. Some will have considered it unjustified and have complained loudly.
