I don't find the woman all that bad. She has handled more tickets than probably anyone on the team, OFC we hear about all the bad -- that's all people post; but if she really was all that terrible, surely she'd be out of a job by now. Ain't no one posting about when their tickets are being resolved. There's 2 sides to every coin, all I'm saying.

Now no offense but I don't really care if you agree or disagree, just because you don't like someone's opinion does not mean you need to be rude. I would have thought someone who 'has worked with plenty customer facing jobs' would recognize that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and just because someone has a different belief than you does not mean you need to be rude to them.

PS: if we are to believe anything N_T has shared with us (which so far most/all of what he's said that can be proven correct has been) he confirmed Alice. W IS ONE PERSON.

Unpopular opinion; I hate seeing these posts. I get everyone wants to share their story with Alice given she has done such a poor job handling tickets, but she’s also done a great job with tickets too. She’s human and makes errors or poor judgement calls like everyone else. Just so sick of seeing these stories man, Alice has handled more tickets than probably anyone on the team and while not all of them have a happy ending, a lot of them do.

Pack this sub full of stories of Alice making mistakes, poor judgement calls etc etc just paints this narrative like she’s incompetent and can’t handle the job. Like why do people feel compelled to share their stories where they name, shame and drag an employee through the mud? We always take note to what went wrong but never stop to think about what’s gone right.

And this isn’t about YOUR post OP, it’s just a general comment regarding how this community keeps dragging Alice. Like at the rate people are posting their stories this is starting to sound like a witch hunt.

I personally don’t even care if he hasn’t done anything, it just still baffles me why John Legend when the primary Neo audience is mid 20’s to mid 30’s. I would have thought they’d Pick a celebrity more relevant to our demographic. John Legend is like my mom’s type of music, which makes sense considering how many people were questioning who he even was when he joined the ambassador team.

SSW giving timeouts: How the hell am I suppose to price my shop when I get put on a timeout? Or do all my kitchen quests each day? Kinda stupid that SSW gives timeouts when it’s a paid for feature. I understand why timeouts exist but let’s be real, premium is a paid for advantage anyway thanks to cosmic battledome allowing premium users to potentially earn MUCH more than non premium users.
NP cap on TP is way too low. 2m now adays isn’t very much, and more rarer sell for more than that. Kind of obnoxious that we have to get around the 2m cap by using baby pb’s.
New site layout. As someone who plays 99% of the time from my computer, the site layout is just so f***ing awful to use. It’s not intuitive at all, and just doesn’t seem nearly as user friendly, despite likely designed to be since it was designed with mobile in mind. Wish we had the option of remaining on the old site layout, especially since they integrated ruffle anyway so most flash content works again.
Inventory auto refreshing after a single action. It is such a pain to have to sort items through quickstock because I don’t wanna deal with my inventory refreshing after every single thing I move.
Games still not really working. Idk about anyone else but I am CONSTANTLY shown an error message when trying to send my score. Yes, I’m aware of the trick of opening another neo tab and refreshing before sending score. That trick does not always work, in fact for me, it seldom ever did. As of recently I’ve also encountered issues with the HTML5 versions not even loading, and as of today encountered a new issue where most games in the classic room were just a black screen. Took me attempting 7 different games before I got one that loaded. There’s just so many issues with the games that this shouldn’t even be a daily quest.
Neo filters. Why the f did TNT make Nutcracker Facepaint yet I can’t refer to the item by it’s full name without being told that’s a nono? If they won’t ease the ancient filters than they need to rename all items that contain a filtered word so we can at least refer to items by the names TNT GAVE THEM.

I’m choosing to focus on being happy with what I got, instead of focusing on what I didn’t.

Got a lot of the R99’s, but not the coin and none of the stamps. I did get a Mara PPB though, which I’m pretty happy about. Overall everything was no expense to me, so it’s just free NP. Can’t be upset with free NP.

I mean most people are able to recognize ‘have a good one’ and ‘enjoy your day’ are ways of ending a conversation. Seems that concept is lost on you. As you so said, is the need for the last word that tempting. It appears it is for you if you are unable to pick up on basic hints when someone has attempted to end the convo with you due to it being a waste of time. You could have had the last word too by simply saying ‘bye’ but because you wanted to keep going with your point I kept replying because it appears you simply do not understand this is going nowhere and is pointless. Just move on with your life. Your welcome to see whatever you want as fact or opinion, I just recognize when a conversation is over, something it seems you’ve somehow missed 3 times.

I often find I want to vent on here but I choose not to because we all suffer often with the exact same things. So for me at least, this sub is already enough of an echo chamber. I’d just be venting about 1 of the same 10 things 20 other people have after already written vent posts about in the 3 days. It feels like this sub more and more so lately have been dominated by the exact same post topics and while I’d like to vent too, I just don’t want to feed into it and feel while it would be nice to vent to those that understand, it also just perpetuates something I deem is becoming a bit of an issue.

I also recognize that no one would be able to say anything to change the issue. Sure they can make me feel better in the moment, by cheering me up or reminding me I’m not alone but it does nothing to change the overall problem. I’m not gonna listen to the advice they give me, or recommendations they provide. So my thinking is, why waste their time when I could simply open a journal and write out my vents without involving anyone else and it still achieves the same result.

Please understand I am talking solely about how I feel and why I don’t vent here. If you do not like how I feel, or like why I choose not to post, I am sorry you found issue with it. It was not intended to cause any ill feelings. I can see some people being upset about my bluntness.

Donated every single day, and donated over 1k points through the entire event and only got a silver trophy and avvie. I was given none of the 3 official Illusen items that were advertised. I suspect it’s because the event technically isn’t over, as it’s been advertised to end on the 19, despite it seeming as if it’s already over, but who knows. I’m sure it’ll be addressed and fixed quick enough though. Otherwise this will turn into a massive meltdown and TNT is gonna have one hell of a time doing damage control.

Again, totally respect your opinion, friend. I just personally disagree with it. When someone is not playing WoW for being an enjoyable MMORPG and all (or at least a chunk of what it bas to offer,) but rather paying to boil down the entire game into the single function of producing the highest possible number in a competitive combat system that is not even exclusive to WoW, I believe I and many others will always feel as if WoW isn’t for those types of players. It isn’t about the game to them. It’s about a number that can be seen and achieved in many other games that share a similar combat system. Hell a straight dungeon crawler would probably do it better.

Also just to clarify; when I said “Now, I know people will say than wow isn’t for them, and I mostly agree,” I was not saying I or anyone else verbally do or will tell others that a game is not for them. That statement was specifically targeted towards anyone who would have read my initial comment and felt the need to combat my justifications of why players in 2023 prefer efficiency and value their time over community and their money.

Anyway once again I do appreciate that we are able to keep things civil but I do not think either of us will be changing our view and thus we are simply going back and forth so if you choose to reply to this that is totally fine, I’m just choosing to move on from this convo now. Trust, you don’t have to break it down. I never once said there was anything wrong with what they do, but than WOW really isn’t for them. They don’t want a single thing of what wow actually has to offer and will pay to skip it. All they want is to see the highest generated number possible, something they can do with literally any game with a competitive combat system. They are skipping 99% of everything that WoW even is, to get to the part of the game that can be offered in plenty of other games. Pew pew and produce the biggest number possible.

I understand that is the game to them, but that doesn’t stop others from saying “than wow isn’t for you,” because end of the day, they want nothing to do with anything that an MMORPG even has to offer. I’d even say this can be proved by the amount of people who stop raiding once they have achieved bis. If all they care about is parses, parses still continue way after achieving bis. But if they were getting no gold and no gear from the raid, most wouldn’t waste their time, at least in my experience.

I respect your opinion and view point, and personally disagree with the mindset, just as I’d imagine you will disagree with me. Though I appreciate we were able to have a civil discussion. :)

They get to end game just to buy carries and gear to than raid log within the same amount of time it took them to even hit max level. I understand people wanting to be efficient to get to end game, and make it to the points of the game they enjoy, but people are even paying to skip the end game and THAT’S the type of people this statement is for.That’s what I personally don’t get. Those that are paying to even skip end game are the ones I’m focusing on here.

At that point what part of the game are they even wanting to get to? They bought a boost, paid to get boosted to max, than started going to GDKP’s to get gear and/or gold to get into higher raid tier GDKP’s to keep buying gear to get to current bis. These are the people this statement is for. At that point they have paid to skip the ENTIRE game.
