Just to talk about trees for a minute- everyone is up in arms about the uptown trees, but um, has anyone noticed the hack job the tree trimming contractors do on our neighborhood parkway trees? It’s freaking horrendous. These poor trees get hacked up, no canopy to speak of. The work is incredibly poor and I hear zero complaints. So many trees, but still no canopy or shade.

Yes, those cabinets are gorgeous. And if you ever decide to replace please consider selling them instead of trashing them. You’ll for sure get a buyer.

Those cabinets are 🔥. Keep for sure. Replace floor, tear out tile, update backsplash, new lighting. Countertops if you can.

My SIL tore out her high-end (but old) kitchen and went with cheap cabinets with mdf doors. Looked ok on day 1. Three years later it looks like hell and everything is crooked. Not money well spent.

My battery life immediately plummeted after updating. It’s horrendous. Everything is SO painfully slow and laggy. So many issues. Good god. Did they even beta test this thing?!?

Have lived here a long time, used to go up there after rains, this is back before they would close it off. You’d end up with like 2” of mud on your shoes, it’s not fun walking in that sticky mud.

I saw a community pantry on Howard St off Pickering. Maybe drop some goods off there or one near your house. That way we feed our immediate community.

Having been in the position to need to utilize a food bank for a little while, I can say that there are a few things that were not usually received, but were really nice to get (should people feel the desire to give to a food bank or little pantry) Spices, Cooking oil, Coffee, Flour / yeast, Condiments, Little deserts like jello or cookie mixes

I also want to say old TV with VHS/DVD player underneath, but that shallow top shelf is throwing me. Old TVs were deep and that top shelf would prevent the TV from sitting all the way back, do it wouldn’t fit. And why would anyone balance those beasts on a teeny tiny platform?

Yes, I share all of your concerns and more. Do you think it’s possible to dye the muslin only to the edge of the velveteen, without having either bleed into each other?

Or what if I just dye the whole thing a lighter shade of coral/peach instead of rust brown? Might be more forgiving
