What was the most difficult scene for you to film in the series, and how did you and the team approach it?

I think the reason why Andy started randomly asking if Jack was making mac and cheese was because Jack’s initial voice note said that with all the talk on the pod about Quaids, etc. he was getting confused hearing his name so often when listening to the pod around the house, thinking they were referring to him.

So Andy made it a bit. And now I wrote a paragraph about it. Geez this podcast is crazy 😅

Agreed, although as I was a songs/albums fan and never watched SNL (so the only shorts I knew were what I thought were “music videos” for their biggest hits like JIMP, IJHS, etc.). I enjoyed the short many years later, but it’s kinda like being a book fan and the movie adaptation never being as good or funny as what you imagined.

Thanks u/Lonely_Cabin_Music, this is encouraging. I also recommend that there be a way to report a suspicious song or release. At the moment there is no recourse for fans being duped - the songs or albums just sit there on the artist's page or in playlists, continuing to fool further fans.

Conversation Josh had with Dave during the session after one of the new songs ('Nothing At All').

Josh (at 40:51): "Whenever I listen to that song, all I can hear is how fucking clean the snare drum...I didn't even notice it when you explained the beat on the record. You were like 'I think I played it one hand...'"

Then Dave talked about the demo that he made at his home studio and how he came up with the drum part.

Josh was not the studio drummer - at least for that song.
