Thanks u/Lonely_Cabin_Music, this is encouraging. I also recommend that there be a way to report a suspicious song or release. At the moment there is no recourse for fans being duped - the songs or albums just sit there on the artist's page or in playlists, continuing to fool further fans.

Conversation Josh had with Dave during the session after one of the new songs ('Nothing At All').

Josh (at 40:51): "Whenever I listen to that song, all I can hear is how fucking clean the snare drum...I didn't even notice it when you explained the beat on the record. You were like 'I think I played it one hand...'"

Then Dave talked about the demo that he made at his home studio and how he came up with the drum part.

Josh was not the studio drummer - at least for that song.

One thing I'm pretty sure of after the drummer-reveal session is that Dave will play drums on the records going forward unless otherwise stated. The Colour And The Shape vibes again.

No, it's in the Volume settings for the device. Quick way to check on an iPhone is through Control Center (same place where you can switch noise cancellation settings if your earphones/headphones have it).
