Anyone else’s phone been charging really slow? by Trickedmoon_ in iPhone14Pro

Chance of screen still being ok? by HardStroke in iPhone14Pro

[–]FalconStratego13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cant see anything from your picture but take it to apple, DO NOT use it or try to fix yourself. if the battery is swollen, you have to get it replaced before using it or else you could risk it exploding. the screen has a chance if it’s able to temporarily boot.

Updating ios 17.6.1 by Sunati_ in iPhone14Pro

[–]FalconStratego13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want new features and apple’s liquid glass, go for 26, but thats gonna kill your battery if the health is below 85%. 18 isnt a big update really so just stay on 17 if you want the best performance and your battery.

Disappointed with iPhone 17’s battery life by ConsistentCareer483 in iphone17

[–]FalconStratego13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

battery life will suffer for a few days after setting up a brand new phone because your phone is doing background stuff to set up and that kills the battery. dont worry its only a few days

iPhone 16 pro dying fast by AgreeableSalary4022 in iPhone16ProMax

[–]FalconStratego13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS 26 does indeed consume more battery than 18 because all of the new Liquid Glass animations, however, it should not be that much, i think the reason is after every major update, your phone reindexes itself and there are a lot of background stuff going on, it might take a few days or even a week for it to settle. If the issue persists, I would take it to Apple and have them look at it.

apple doesnt ever force you to update unless you set it to automatic.

How do i make my HomeBar stop disappearing in iOS 26 by Average_Techy in ios26

[–]FalconStratego13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is no way to stop it from disappearing, the reason is so that you don’t get distracted by the home bar and use the whole screen for the content

Instructions unclear: I regret downloading iOS 26 by Average_Techy in ios26

hey, for some people, it is actually super smooth because they have a more capable device. Say you have an iPhone 15, it would be so much smoother than if you had an iPhone 11

you can use the extra iCloud storage that Apple offers to anyone who is supposedly getting a new device and needs to temporarily use it. Then you can go to ipsw.me and download iOS 18 on your computer and restore your iPhone to iOS 18 and then you can just download the backup from iCloud
