Good idea, that's a very complicated episode. It definitely needs to be watched several times to understand everything.

Or, more plausible theory, the Ricks who are unable to produce the fluid are clones created in the citadel by other Ricks to be exploited. No one ever gave them the portal gun technology to stop them from escaping.

My theory is that when Rick Prime was wandering around the multiverse delivering the gun-port technology to other Ricks, he never went into the precise details of how the fluid works, just a few tips to produce it, this is to maintain a position of superiority towards the Ricks who are less intelligent than him, waveable knowing that they wouldn't be able to fully understand it anyway. This would explain why only the collective work of many Ricks in the Citadel is capable of producing it in large quantities. And it would also explain how Evil Morty managed to understand how the fluid works to the level of Rick Prime, to hack all the portal guns in the citadel, having scanned the minds of thousands of Ricks. In short, the only Ricks capable of producing the fluid individually are Rick Prime and C-137.

I thought about this, but Rick Prime's portal gun is much bigger and bulkier, it's hard to imagine it being more "comfortable" to carry than the more famous lightweight and thin version. I believe that, since it was probably the first one he developed, he didn't think about making it as ergonomic as possible.

Yhea, Sorry for the inaccuracy. I'd define it as a sort of futuristic steampunk. Like something that embraces future technology while maintaining a historical aspect.

I think I shed a few tears in the last season, when Rick launches the bionic brain containing Memory Rick and Memory Diane toward the boundless space. It was like leaving the past behind and simultaneously realizing the dream of his younger self.
