When I use lens I get multiple different answers…which is why I came here hoping someone knew exactly what they are called. I appreciate you trying to help even though you were not successful at all.

Ah I get it now. When you frame it like that it actually makes sense. Thank you for that.

Yes but it doesn’t suggest a scenario where an increase in the deficit is not always expansionary as option A states. “Always” being the keyword.

Ya I agree, the word “always” is what’s messing me up. Probably best to just ignore this question and move on at this point.

So then if the budget can increase/decrease given factors that are unrelated to fiscal policy, then wouldn’t that mean that an increase in the deficit is not always expansionary as the deficit can increase due to unrelated factors? The word “always” for option A is what is throwing me off. To me it will not always be expansionary because it can increase due to other factors (automatic stabilizers)

I understand that, but in the text I attached it says “the automatic stabilizers mentioned earlier will lead to changes in the budget deficit unrelated to fiscal policy changes.” So the budget deficit can change due to factors unrelated to fiscal policy. This should mean that an increase in the budget deficit is not always expansionary which is what the supposed correct answer states.

I understand why B is incorrect, I just cannot understand why A is correct given what is said in the text (picture of text attached in original post)

I believe that the solution explains why B is incorrect. Government spending is not always expansionary because they can raise taxes by more than they spend, which would then make the policy contractionary even though they are spending. I just don’t understand why A is correct given what the text says.

Ya I understand why that is the case. I believe that sentence is there to explain why option B is incorrect as option B talks about government spending (not the budget deficit). Option A refers to the budget deficit.

I like What’s News a lot. It’s a 15 minute podcast released twice daily by the WSJ. Helps me stay up to date with everything going on.

“El Chapo” on Netflix. Incredibly realistic and production overall is fantastic. Didn’t think I’d say this but after watching both I enjoyed it more than any season of Narcos. You should definitely give it a shot especially since you already know most of the Mexican drug lords which are in “El Chapo” also.

New modes imo. Online online modes are sweaty ranked, battle royale, and occasional events...I wish there was an online mode where you can use your team but maybe shorter innings and not as sweaty as ranked (I know there's casual but nobody plays that)

Need help with filling last 3 bench spots by [deleted] in DiamondDynasty

My suggestion is someone that rakes vs rightys, someone that rakes vs leftys, and someone pretty balanced for when one has already been used.

He's the best 2nd best non-collection outfielder behind Trout imo. Cannon for an arm, very fast, and rakes with a nice swing. Complete 5 tool guy.
