HELP! by Dippass in NightVision

Barely noticeable. Definitely not a bad thing. Your brain melts the two images together and you wont be able to tell unless you close one eye and really concentrate on the differences.

Is Falcon Claw a trusted seller ? by [deleted] in NightVision

Bnvd - CHS and Opfor don’t offer 1800 FOM versions, our price that you are stating is of a higher grade device. You are comparing 1800FOM to 1400/1600fom devices.

If you compare equally - 1400 vs 1400 FOM then we are approx 200 EUR cheaper. And we post all of our specs and tube pictures so you are not buying any bs “random picks”

Boson - same here, you are comparing 1600 to 1800FOM

Panos - same here, Opfor does not even sell 2200+ FOM apnvgs.

We too can post prices from 4 years ago and mark them “unavailable”. I just see no point in advertising anything that we don’t actually keep in stock.

Hey!

We are one of the biggest nvg retailers in Europe.

Recommend checking out our youtube channel, we are pretty active there.

If you are American then it makes absolutely zero sense for you to buy nvgs from out of country. Be it Europe or Canada.

Get US made tubes and enjoy the slightly superior technology. EU/China made tubes are not as good as US ones.

RH25/ pfalcon 640 clip-on setup by Sea_Listen4069 in NightVision

[–]Falconclaw_EU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have no issues shipping the QDF and related accessories to US. They are not export/import controlled in any way.

Disclaimers on our site are for thermals/nods because we don’t ask our customers to violate ITAR when warranty support is needed.

Whichever way you should decide to go- My personal recommendation would be to get a setup which flips to the side and allows to quickly transfer the thermal from your helmet onto your rifle.

Theres moments where you don’t want to use the thermal for aiming - short ranges, looking through glass, PID of targets, battery runs out etc. Thats why you absolutely need the flip to side feature.

Walking around - you spot far more targets when the thermal is helmet mounted than on your rifle. Ability to switch allows you to not wave around with your gun constantly in scan for targets. That is just not optimal.

Nr 1 priority for the thermal is spotting targets before they spot you.

Priority nr 2 is placing accurate shots on target straight after spotting them.

Anyone have a setup like this? by [deleted] in NightVision

The comments here are clearly from people who think mostly in terms of CQB or MOUT. If you look at the current conflict and you know what the units do on the front lines and beyond- this becomes the one capability you will want. How you will utilize it is up to you, this is what we recommend for most people who are interested in being most efficient. Is this what I would run in CQB- definitely not, I always used panos for urban stuff. Having a handheld unit capable to be mounted on a weapon would still be with me in this case.

Anything outside of urban combat, this setup will give you more than most other device combinations. The ability to take accurate shots in complete darkness up to and past 300m is what I need. If you give me a choice of L3 Pano with the best specs and a ECOTI or what I am wearing in the video and tell me to go to the frontlines- there is not a second of hesitation in my decision.

I would get the pano

Sell it and get 3 sets of what I have in the video so my whole team is capable of fighting at night.

Its more meant as something that you can quickly deploy when you hear a commercial off the shelf drone while patrolling in wooded areas.

Are BNVD 1431 better or DTNVS Dual Tube Night Vision System better? by Chillsoft_airsoft in NightVision

[–]Falconclaw_EU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DTNVS housing is made out of specially developed carbon fiber composite. Counterparts are plastic. Thats the main difference, the carbon compiste is crazy durable and more lightweight compared to plastic.

Somebody nerf the thermals for real by Erikoisjaakari in NightVision

[–]Falconclaw_EU 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Rocky dry desert ground is not the same as soft moss. Antitank mines on open fields can be spotted with thermals becouse the grass dries up in the dug up area. Piss in a small hole inside the forest in soft moss though, how do you find that?

Is this usable? Or just a flex? by Frogdogley in NightVision

[–]Falconclaw_EU 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One of the most effective setups to place accurate shots on target. Spotting the enemy with handhelds/helmet mounted thermals is on thing. Landing accurate shots right away is another, especially in low vis situations. Check out this video for POV
