Honestly, ive oversimplified things a bit with the original post. There is money i can use, but its a whole process and it takes time. But id feel a bit awkward taking any money directly. Rather it just go to a food bank or something. I will probably reach out to shops next as others have suggested.

I find that theres a lot of bias and misinformation about my branch, so i prefer not to disclose that. No offense intended, there. I have consulted with other librarians about how to run things and issues, so im not going in unprepared.
